Weekly 100kcr upkeep is quite expensive for smaller guilds, AND THIS IS JUST A WEST EAST WING 2 FLOOR EXPANSIONS, I know people can pitch in, but some people only play on weekends, and by then the guild have been defaulted and they have to pay an extra 200% on top of that...

So here is my little change

1. Change the Upkeep from weekly to monthly

Why? To give those smaller guilds some breathing room to pay in weekends.

2. Double the Upkeep cost

Why? We still need a crownsink, but when you compare, your only paying 2 weeks of upkeep per month, so little balances here and there.

3. Remove the guild invitation restrictions and lower default penalties to 50% extra on defaults

Why? This is not Spiral Realtor Simulator V3.1, THIS IS A GAME FOR TEENS, Give those smaller guilds a break when defaulted, And to prevent mass invitations for paying the ransom, all new guild recruits CANNOT donate crowns to the treasury.

Any thoughts?

There's like five other

There's like five other threads about upkeep, and a heavy discussion on smaller guilds vs upkeep here.

Largely it comes down to "if you're a small guild that can't afford 100k upkeep...why did you buy that much?"

You're not earning anything essential or crucial by landing yourself with debts, and you're not losing or falling behind in the game by having a smaller guild hall; there's really no tangible benefits to having 400k upkeep, so you can't even say that smaller guilds are losing out in a meaningful sense. If you're a smaller guild, only amass an upkeep that you can afford to pay.

Even 100k upkeep is reasonable for a small guild; ten people taking an hour a week to do an FSC run as a group can pay most of that 100k. That's ten active people spending one hour at the weekends to pay for your full upkeep. If you can't even manage that, then you really have no business trying to make a huge and expensive guild hall.

I'm also sure 10 people (who

I'm also sure 10 people (who are likely never all on at the same time) would ever need more than 1-3 rooms in a guild anyway. That's 20k a week. Each person doesn't need their own private chambers like some sort of King. You can bunk together and build bonds stronger like the small guild you are.

My point was simply that even

My point was simply that even with 50 people in a guild, you only need ten of them contributing less than an hour a week to cover an 80k upkeep. That's not unreasonable for any guild, regardless of playtime available. They don't even need to be on at the same time; each person coming and doing the ru in smaller groups, solo or PUGs can still contribute the same amount just as easy.

And if it's that easy for any guild to manage 80k upkeep, then going beyond that really isn't that hard either.

For example, a large guild with a high upkeep cost:

Let's say 20 people (out of 60~100) doing two FSC runs each (which can be achieved in under an hour and a half) can cover 300k of that upkeep. In our guild, if every regularly active member did FSC just once or twice and donated, we'd pay our upkeep and have money to spare for next weeks upkeep.
