Me and my friend will host a gate diving tier 2 this Friday eastern time at like 4:30pm (if you want to come) but we have armour problems.
My friend is likely to buy brute jelly mail soon and I a Dusker cap. But that means my friend has 1 3* armour and so with I this is the following armour that we have.

He's a hybrid but he might buy the demo helm since he is a bomber
I need opinions on this!
(we are on a tight budget and I'm the only one with 3* weapons besides the tempered honor blade)
By "gate diving" you mean that you're going to go through Tier 2 on a gate? With 2- and 3-star equipment? Great. That's how the game is "supposed" to be played.
Your armor is great, because it leads to armor with nice offensive bonuses. Your friend's armor is not great, because it leads to armor with no offensive bonuses, and not very good status protections either. He should consider getting a mix of sworder, gunner, and bomber armor.
