Yeah, if the NPC's were strong then how did they get captured in the first place? If they were more smarter (and stronger) then how have they NOT figured a way out of a cage that brittle and fragile............

lol, Id rather remove them or leave them knocked out so you have to carry them as if they were statues/keys.
If you want a badass NPCs return to Rendhon in rescue camp. Only newbies should get that kind of help. Missions are supposed to be a challange not a walk in the park with super NPCs doing the job for you.
I would personally prefer it if I could just sling the NPCs over my back like a mineral.
It is a pain in the metaphorical posterior when I get extra Grimalkins just because my mission dictates I need to lug around a piece of dead weight that does little more than a) trigger enemies b) move very slowly and c) absorb not very much enemy fire. Having stronger NPCs would be of absolutely no interest to me; I'd prefer it if they just had a better AI or removed their attacking ability altogether.
No, they're hostages and escortees. Really, them attacking at all and taking aggro is more than enough. If they were competent fighters, why would they need rescue at all?
