OK, i'm thinking that the training hall is a bit easy. I'm a 5* player and i would like more of a challenge. Can you make it so that you can do a clockwork run or a mission run for the training hall? it will be for no energy at all but you will not get anything from the run like money, materials, heat, and minerals. It would say like, T1 and then the area so for example, T3_Firestorm Cincadel_floor26 and then you will be able to practice at the first floor. It will not be available for Shadow Run though. It will be able to make us a lot more experienced and it will make the game a lot more fun. But if you are only a T2 player, you will only be able to do a T2 mission. It will be normal so just 4 people at once. It will be almost the same except you don't pay energy and you don't get any prizes (money, heat, minerals, or materials) please respond to this, it will be very fun and a wonderful update!
training hall change
" It will be almost the same except you don't pay energy and you don't get any prizes"
You miss the point, 80% of the reason you play a game is for FUN. Currently with the energy system, people have to 'pay' for their fun. Remove the need for payment, and it'll be FREE FUN.
1) Use all your mist crafting or for a run
2) Save your cr however.
3) Go to the 'energy free clockworks' and play to your heart's content.
The point of putting a cost on everything is to slow progress and promote spending. OOO is a company; SK may be 'free' to play, but there's definitely a limit to the 'freeness' of the fun we get. If there was none, SK wouldn't make any money, or not enough money for OOO to warrant the game existing.
BAD! i was told to say this from my guild leader XD
...Waitwat?
If I had to guess, either you or your GL suggested this, you posted it, you reported the feedback, and your GL is effectively telling us off for disagreeing?
my guild leader didnt want to because it doesnt work for him so he tells us to suggest stuff for him, i dont agree with some of it but i think this could be fun, but it is missing the point just a bit
"but it is missing the point just a bit"
Dost thou even comprehendeth the severity this vile abomination will wreak upon this peaceful facade of Cradle?!
Mesa no thinky so :3
But really, this will impact bigger than it seems.
i don't think the original idea would work but...
what if we were to tone down the original idea. the training hall would be pretty much as it is now except the monsters you can practice on are replica beasts or slimes etc so you could test a piercing and shadow gun on them to see which one works best.
Doing that would pretty much invalidate the Guild Training hall. The GTH has punching bags for replicating monster families, there's supposed to be at least SOME difference between the GTH and ATH.
EDIT: Also, I wasn't arguing. I was making a point whilst being a silly.
I would argue that if you're 5* you shouldnt need any more training...
well, i do need more training regarding Shadow Lairs :o
and just to make things more harder...
Do you know those requirement from a few guilds which says, do this in so and so time? or do this entire level with out dying?
This would make it easier for such guilds and there requirement programs.
The discussion is still alive!
@Canine:
You can do that anyways, with the CW. Doesn't take much to add them as a friend and monitor their progress via your social tab, or join them and corpse-spectate.
So basically you want the clockworks outside the clockworks and the ability to chose exactly what levels you get to do? How about no.
