Now we all know that the beast family is by far the smallest enemy family. Now, we've also got a lot of cross-over enemies, like zombies/retrodes.
The enemy i've got in mind is a crossover of the spookat. It's te razorwing:

The differences:

Instead of a bite, it flies towards you, rears it's head back, and pecks. Hard.
Instead of bullets in t2/3, it shoots feathers. (hence the "razor" in it's name)

I'd go on, but atm my eyes are burning.

Opinions please.

"Opinions please."

Question: If I looked up Stupid in the dictionary, would your name appear in the referral section?

@Idea itself:
Doesn't seem too bad, although I suggest the 'Feather' count be low-ish so it isn't too OP. Maybe about four in a 120 degree spread? (Mebbe stick to the three...)

+0.5 I don't have enough detail even in my own head for a full support yet, sorry.

Thanks for that. By opinions,

Thanks for that. By opinions, I meant ideas if this is good. I've got a migrane so my brain is on hold. And yes, you would find my name... I'm the archduke of it.

Suppose OOO could finally add in that Wishbone material they were so eager to put into the game now?

Eh, I'd rather see raptors/archaeoptyrxs. But even so, any new beast enemy would be welcome.

Nice

Nice idea! Could work, but it might take a while to set it up in missions

@Fehzor:

You should know Archeopteryx is a myth. :P

Flying beasts would be a pain in da butt anyway.

I'm still sold on an old

I'm still sold on an old suggestion about having Gremlins riding raptors.

Idc how ridiculous or unrealistic or out of place it seems; that would be utterly rad.

@Psycho:

I didnae realise the OPs name at first and read that comment thinkin' "Christ, that was entirely unprovoked...is there some sub-text that I'm completely missing here?". Took me...quite long, before I accidentally glanced his name and clocked on :(

@OP:
More details would be nice, although the concept brings a fun image to mind.

Myth?

Also, this sounds like a Greaver.

Kats have a distinctly

Kats have a distinctly different movement pattern than Greavers.
His given example was that Retrodes and Zombies run essentially the same mechanics and movements (and were both subject to the same nerfs and changes during the Nerfpocalypse), so has chosen Kats as a cousin for his suggested creature. Although, as similar as Retrodes and Zombies are, they have at least one non-visual diffference; i.e, the Retrode Beam and Zombie Breath attacks are unique to each of them, therefore I'd expect that when the OP does come up with more details, there would be some key difference between Kats and his suggested bird things, as right now they just sound like visually different Kats that work piercing instead of shadow.

@Klipik:

Everyone knows Archaeopteryx isn't a real bird. It probably can't even fly.

Anyway, having Beast flying monsters would be kind of pointless. They'd have the same weakness as Greavers and would just be less rigid.

anouther beast idea

I am thinking of something that charges, dealing peirceing damage as it gos. also thinking the normal type could do stun. it would stop charge after a while or when it hits a wall. can anyone think of a name?

in tier 1, it would charge in a straight line and look like a rhino, and leave a small dust trail as he runs.
in tier 2, it would go longer and will slightly curve to the left or the right where ever the player it is attacking is, will have some darker gray on some spots on it's body, and leave a dust trail as he runs.
in tier 3, it would go even longer and will seem to chase the player, it will have more darker gray and some even darker gray, and leave a bigger dust trail as he runs.

I'm back, you subnormal- wait, wrong game.

Details, I won't do much because my keyboard is fighting me: (I have to pound each key 3 times to get a letter..)

Hunched over in midair, when not moving
Colors depend on status (blue for freeze, red for fire, etc)
normal does stun
Long tails, used to make a little ''dust storm'' (haze) by spinning in place (t2+)
area deals status, like haze bomb, but no dmg
Sort've a cross between a kat and a greaver.

sorry if it's short, keyboard being a jerk.

When someone suggests a new beast it is generally a bird, a spider, or "something that charges". This particular suggestion is about birds. Stay on topic champ.

For the ranged attack, what about adding a little melee knock back? The bird flaps its wings in place, stirring up a strong gust as well as launching a few razor sharp feathers. Also, this doesn't sound like a very precise attack, so what about having the distribution of feathers in the attack be random?

But I'm all for new beasts, especially those with projectile attacks. Wolver dens are embarrassingly easy as it is.
