OK, first things first, piercing swords are not a separate type of weapon, they're still swords. Since you're going with the Wolver line, go with mostly swords and a gun sidearm. Check out Bopp's sword guide, forget about Snarby, you aren't ready for it, yada yada yada... Get Vog if you like FSC, Skolver if you prefer PvP. That's about it.
