i agree with you shidara! spiral knights has always gone the shiny rainbow look for most of the characters. even in hallowen, the pumpkin was bright orange and did not signify an evil devilish being that came from the underworld. the only armor that looks remotely devilish is the snarbolax set or the skeelly set. im not asking for a new armor set or some kind of recolored armor, a simple aura that gives viewers a creepy feeling would be good enough for me. a halo, well i dont know if a halo can do it sense a halo is suppose to signify something that is holy or was once holy. so i sugest instead, why not create horn accessories. something from the underworld is usually represented by having a horn on its head. some armors already have horns like:

these are the only armors in the spiral knights game that have horns. each of them gives (to me) a general feeling that they have a devilish origin. so i am wondering if there could be several different horn accessories that could be attached to some helms. of course some helms will not be able to attached, but at least for it to be widely use, their will be more helms able to have this attachement then helms that dont. it should be able to be attached like:

these horns would give the players in sk that they could have a devilish character as an alternate look besides using dark halos for a dark look. also, if a devilish aura was created as a promotion item with a lot of emphasis towards dark colors with some kind of symbol that represents the ocult, i think it would be popular.

these are just my thought and assumptions, not facts or a prediction of an actual outcome that the impact these ideas will have on the sk community. :-)
