So far, every family has a boss. Every except Fiends. (Punkin King counts as undead ;-) ) My idea is, make a Fiend boss: an oversized Pit Boss. He would be called the Devilite C.E.O (Name stolen from a kids MMO :P). To access him, you gotta get past some levels I will describe below:
Also, the levels are unique to tier 3.
Devilite HQ: Number Crunching (first level)
A Dark City like level, containing all kinds of Devilites and some Trojans supported by Silkwings and the bats (forgot name). (Mainly Devil-IT's) On the begin of the level,(After the Arsenal-Station place) one will find 1 pit boss, 1 junk-throwing devilite, and 2 Yesmen in front of a gate that requires that 6 buttons in a shaman-circle thingy will be pressed. To find the 8 statues required, the players got to go in several rooms that look like offices (A lot like Red Carpet Runaround in RJP,), each containing a certain type of devilite sub-species, along with 2 statues. After the gate is open, there will be a long path with occasionally snowball/junk devilites and their overtimer versions. On the end of the path, is a long stair going up. There will be 9-24 non-status bats flying around. On the top, a set of lootboxes and the elevator will await the knights who passed.
Devilite HQ: Bombing the Street
This level features a big amount of trojan knightmares, a few fire overtimers, and an arsenal station on the beginning (The Devilites have multiple themes, so an Arsenal Station in each level is a fair option). The beginning of the level is mainly a road with buildings to each side. On the roofs of some buildings, you will see Devilite Overtimers that instead of moving, and doing their original attack, throw bombs from piles behind them. The bombing process is endless until at least one player makes it to a button on the end of the bomb-alley, triggering all the bomb piles, killing the devilites in process. The next room is a Fiend/Very few Gremlin/Very, Very few construct arena with 5 rounds. After the players pass, they will see a lot of lootboxes in a pattern like a full 2x17 (tiles) being filled with Lootboxes.
Devilite HQ: The Bosses' Office
The Devilite C.E.O resides this floor, waiting for anyone who somehow got past his workers. He is as big as Vanaduke, and his room is as big as Vana's. On the left of his room is a desk with 2 Gran Fausts and 1 Faust, and some pencils and papers on it. Why? Check Gran Faust's description. After the battle, the elevator to the Core, and same amount of Lootboxes as at the end of Vana would be found behind a gate that's closed during the battle.
The Battle mechanics are described below.
New Enemies:
Bombilite: Devilites who are found on the roofs of the buildings in Bombing the Street, throw bombs that do Shadow damage.
Devilite C.E.O: The boss of all devilites! He looks like sullivan, except darker. He carries a Gran Faust on his back. He cannot be damaged until all Devilites in room are dead. His attacks are: Demote!: He shouts: You are demoted! and will shoot tridents at knights (Phase 1 and later) Falling Office Debris (Used in phase 2 and later), Slap (When his shield breaks in phase 3 he uses it up-close), Gran Swing (Goes to a random knight and swings the Gran Faust at them. Phase 4) Gran Charge, (Phase 4, he charges, walks up a knight, and releases. 12% of causing Curse) Faust Fury (He walks to a knight, and quickly performs 4 G-Faust swings).
Devilite C.E.O Dies after phase 4. There are 4 devilites that need to be killed in order to break his shield, one spawning in each corner and staying there.
Boss Token: CEO Horn
Boss Token Desc: A horn broken off the head of a Devilite CEO, proof that the owner demoted the CEO to dead. If you listen closely you can hear printer sounds coming out of it.
Shadow Lair theme: Shock
Shadow Lair Sanctuary item: Promotion Paper
Shadow Lair Sanctuary item desc: A rare paper that Devilites fill in before they are promoted by their Pit Bosses.
Shadow lair enemies:
Shocked Pit Boss: One of the highest-in-corporate-ladder Devilites. If he promotes a devilite, there's 17% he will shock himself and the promoted worker. All he can do to defend himself is slapping the knight who wants him dead, doing 1 half-tube damage and causing shock, no matter what armor they have. Slap attack can DEMOTE devilites if accidentally hit. If it hits a standard devilite, however, a message above him will appear saying "FIRED!", setting the Devilite on fire.
S.H.O.C.K: Same as Devil-It, shock is longer
S.H.O.C.K Overtimer: Same as above, tridents are homing
Electric C.E.O: Very Light Blue/white design, his room contains shock fields, he does shock/shadow. On his desk is a computer with a Swarm Seed seen on the screen. He has same attacks, except all having a strong chance of causing shock.
They could make a mission about the Devilite HQ series of levels, called "Corporate Raiding"
So, what do you people think? Please let me know!
I really want a devilite boss for pure fun. Develites are amusing to fight for me because they are challenging. Also I must add that the curse sounds very OP but other than that its fine
+1
