Attention Borderlands 2 Fans! Selling Legendaries for CE!
This Flat out Disgusts me, Anyone wanting Any Weapon in Borderlands 2, be it unique blues, high powered purples, Legendaries or Seraphs may contact me Via Steam (same name as here) and i will do the same thing for free
Do not try selling something from a game that has been hacked so much you can get any legendary you want in less than 5 minutes
It's disgusting how you would imply that I've hacked any of these guns without any evidence at all. I play legitimately. I hate people like you. Instantly, regardless of the situation, you assume the worst of the person (in this case me). I've never hacked any game, nor do I plan on doing it. People can hack Borderlands 2, sure, but I'm personally going out to get these legendaries on request...
i didn't take it that he was implying that you were a hacker or a cheater. I think the implication was that these items hold little to no value, because they are so easily attainable in game. Suggesting that there are lots of hackers out there (you not being one of them) and thus the Borderlands 2 "economy" is full of these items for virtually free.
I don't speak for him/her, so i could be wrong. But thats how i took it.
--if thats the case, i suppose (s)he should have waited to see how much you were asking (if it was 100-200 ce, then no harm done). But the "offer me" instead of setting a price makes it look like you would be willing to take advantage of someone who didn't know better. Not saying you would, but it can be construed that way.
This is why I +1'ed him, and applauded his post. It prevents the possibility of anyone unknowing player getting taken advantage of--not that that was your goal. He could have left the word disgust out of it, not knowing your ambition, and just made sure people knew that these items were a dime a dozen on borderlands. (again, assuming that is true.)
I took it as an implication towards me being some form of hacker and saying that I only got these guns because of that. I was thinking of asking 250-400CE per legendary, depending on which it was. A logan's gun for example, is pretty easy to get. I'd probably only ask 250 for that. Something more time consuming, like an infinity pistol or such, would cost 350 at least. If I was wanting to take advantage of people I'd just tell them to add me on steam and get it done really fast for like 700 CE/Weapon. From what I've seen, you can tell a hacker when you see one. Judging by his willingness to just give away Seraph Weapons (Very, very hard to get) I may assume that he is a hacker, or that he may just dupe his customers the weapons.
my seraphs where farmed legit by turning back my clock, and farming with the babymaker bee combo prior to the bees nerf, my legendaries are also legit, and while yes i would be duping them for people the fact is whether legit or not, most borderlands weapons have 0 value outside of borderlands, what you are doing is rather ridiculous considering for example that there are now the vending machines from the torgue DLC wich give a legendary every time they load (albiet for many torgue tokens) slots with legendary weapon jackpots etc. and hundreds of hackers willing to puke an inventory full of legendaries for free.
i was not accusing you of hacking, duping or any other illegitimate methods to get the weapons, simply saying that trying to make a buck off them in any way is deplorable
I could farm them legit too, but I choose not to. Seraph weapons are actually quite bad. And why would you dupe? It goes against half of the game's meaning. It's an FPSRPG, and you just took the RPG out of it. There's no fun in collecting guns when people like you are around. I was simply trying to sell a few legitimately claimed guns that I never use anymore for currency in a game that I DO play. I figured that people would respect a legitimate player trying to help other players. You lack morals and you need to work on that. Sorry for attempting to get money for things that I've worked hard on, I figured that was an actual way to make money.
Xanafein, Can I have one of the weps, because you said they are free? =) Add me at Lem786 on steam. I have ross gellard from friends on my pic.
I would pay neigh-knocker a low amount of CE like what he's asking for a legitimate weapon, as I personally don't like/understand the idea of duping weapons in BL2 type of game. I only have 2 characters (36 siren starting TVHM and 12 zero) so I wouldn't actually be able to use any haha. But I'm sure other people like me would pay a minimal price for a non-duped weapon out of our personal standards.
Unlike everyone else, you realize that I'm actually working for money, not duping these weapons/hacking them in. Thanks for your support.
Neigh, He's not saying that you're not working to get what you get. He's saying that from a buyer's perspective, MOST would rather get it for free from it being duped or whatever than having to pay for it. If they actually wanted to have a "legit" item, they would find it themselves instead of buying it.
(Just my two cents from a buyer's perspective)
I personally am ok with buying a weapon. I don't see that much of a difference between using my connections here to get something and me trading my xbox live friends weapons I find and don't need but they might.
It's essentially the same, I'm just giving neigh a tip for finding it for me in CE, whereas with XBL friends I ask that if they find something I need and they don't, they pass it on in return.
But I see how a "purist" might be put off by not personally finding a weap, and also how most people don't give a crap about enjoying the difficulty of the game and are perfectly fine with free duped weapons.
Everyone is entitled to their views here, some will go the duped route, some will go the find-everything-themselves route, others like me could find Neigh's service useful and within their personal standards. I'm not saying one way is "better" than other, just which one I align with
*Sigh*
The dreaded 5-year-old pile of trash known as the x-box 360. I play on steam as opposed to playing on the equivelant of a SNES.

Lovely triple post, my point that I am trying to make, is that the amount of work/effort it takes to farm a legendary, (with the exception of the legendary classmods that verm drops) does not equal the amount of CE you are asking for, esp since in many games I join with randoms, People will Just drop legendaries they already have....
