This is a new minigame for the Coliseum, where teams try to bring the other team's flag module into their base zone. It would have the same classes as Lockdown. There are two teams, and they start at different ends of the arena. In Lockdown there is an area to heal. For purposes of this thread I shall call this the Base Zone. The team flags modules are kept in the Base Zones. The flags would act like keys, in that when you pick them up you cannot attack others, unless you drop it. Each team would know where their own flags are, so that they would know if their flag is being stolen. Speeds for travelling while holding a flag are the following. Strikers move at the speed you normally move when carrying a key. Recons are slightly faster than Strikers and Guardians are slower than Strikers when carrying a key. This would add more strategy to minigames as you would want someone to guard the Base Zone and people to get the flag. When a flag is carried to the other team's Base Zone, then the other team will get 1 point and the flags' positions will reset. First team to get 5 or 10 points will win.

Not bad, but I'm a little shaky on this. Once someone's running away, it's going to be damn hard to catch them. It's less trouble in FPS, because you can gun them down where they stand, but you can see the problem applied to SK, even with the speed adjustments.

Also, this'll probably end up as another fragfest, as most CTF games do anyway, especially considering what people, are doing to LD.

+0.25 I like the idea itself, I just think it'll be extremely hard to make work.

But... LD has protected bases for changing classes and equipment. It's not in the open like your average FPS.
