What if you could buy a specific recipe machine for the gh that has a communal recipe list. How it would work is that an officer or gm could buy a recipe from the gh store and put it in the machine. But the catch is that to make something from the list you have to pay double the crowns and ad an extra 10 percent to the ce to make. So to make 1 star item: 400cr 11energy, to make 2 star item: 800crowns 55energy, to make 3star item: 2000crowns 210 energy, to make 4 star item: 5000crowns 440energy, to make 5star item 10000crowns, 880energy. Half the crowns and ce go into the guild treasury and mist well(if own). If dont own mist well all energy to create lost. Price of special alchemy machine: 20000crowns. The price of each recipe is the same as usual(250 for 1star, 1000 for 2star, 4000 for 3star, 10000 for 4star and 25000 for 5star) for the gh store. A new recipe can be bought each time the upkeep is paid, so 1 recipe a week.

Update: also to make, double each of the materials to make, also each person can only use each recipe every 3 days but can pay a 20000cr payment to bypass the time between making.

For 10 reasons.

1. You're defeating the purpose of the recipe crownsink. Every player must buy their own recipes so that there are crowns being sunk into the economy.

10. You're defeating the purpose of the upkeep crownsink. Crowns put into the treasury must be done specifically, not two-purposed in. As far as I know, you can't buy things twice with only one amount of cash.

ok

take out the give money to gh when make. And it wont affect the economy much because of the disadvantages when making something at the gh communal alchemy machine. So people will have to choose to either do a bit of work to make it cheaper or they can use the communal machine which is more expensive and get things a little faster. For example a 5star item usualy costs 86000crowns (recipe, make price, and ce) but with this method it costs 71600cr (make and ce (ce at current price)), so its not much of a difference.

Guilds already have an Alchemy room, so adding a second Alchemy station would be a redundant waste of crowns.

So, basically, it's guild Alchemy machine that displays the same recipes for every single person in the guild. If it costs more money to make it, it will get very little use. Nobody would even bother to use it if they were trying to roll for a good UV; it'd be cheaper and more practical to use the normal Alchemy machine.

Low-tier recipes and equipment are very inexpensive, so there would be no reason to use the guild Alchemy machine to make those. High-tier recipes and equipment are extremely expensive, but players who have access to them are more than capable of getting the crowns required, and I doubt any of them would like to pay 10,000CR to craft a 5* item when they could just use a normal alchemy machine and craft two 5* items at the same price.

With the guild machine, recipes are still required to be purchased. Now, tell me, if you bought a 5* recipe for 25,000CR, would you rather learn it yourself and then craft it at a normal Alchemy machine for 5,000CR, or would you rather put it in the guild and craft it for 10,000CR?

While that makes it fairly obvious that this system would be intended for players who have a recipe that they have already learned, do you really expect that player to donate it to the guild instead of simply selling it for a profit?

Eventually, guilds will fill out the entire machine, but even then it'd just be a normal alchemy machine that charges its users a larger crafting price.

okay

Yep but this also saves a lot of time when your looking for a specific recipe that cant be bought from any traders or from the hall of heros like DA or GF, so it is mostly a time saver so yeah i thought about it and i agree with you.

you dont buy the recipe yourself

you dont buy the recipe yourself the guild buys it from the gh store and everyone in the guild can use it. and also becasue of the 1 week waiting time between the recipes being able to be bought it would take a long time to fill out.

I think it can be a good idea

I think it can be a good idea with some tweaks.
For example, depending on guild size, you need to input a certain number of copies into the Guild Alchemy Machine(GAM .-.) before it opens the recipe to the entire guild. This encourages the whole guild contributing to a single cost so that everyone can benefit. Like bribing king krogmo but less money grabbing. It also encourages players to try out more weapons, without the sometimes inhibitive recipe cost(esp in 4* to 5*). This can in fact cause more crafting, and more crowns and energy to be consumed.

You could also merge the materials chest with this, such that if you're missing a certain material, itt'll automatically withdraw up to a certain, preset number from the materials chest to prevent abuse. Also, if there are already a sufficient amount of materials in your inventory, those will be used instead, and the user will not be allowed to use the materials from the shared storage.

Guild-unique gear would be a

Guild-unique gear would be a good addendum to this. You could craft unique (or near-unique) soulbound gear that is only usable while you're a member of the guild the gear "belongs" to. If you quit the guild then the gear becomes unsoulbound but remains untradeable, so that the only thing you can do with it is vendor it.

LOL, if you're gonna use it that much, buy the recipe already!

@Irthan's idea of custom bound recipes is more pausible.

Everybody knows that buying and paying for your own recipe is much cheaper, even crafting it. The example you gave for the guild recipes would be more expensive than the current crafting alchemy.

Also, crown sinks will become Crap Rise if we had this in game.
