Recently I've had an influx of FSC invites from friends who don't actually know I'm tier 2.
I've decided I wanna try out FSC for myself with a party, and even if I die and get corpse dragged I can still spectate and see FSC for myself.

What gear shd I bring to minimize my disruption to the team, as well as to survive as long as possible?
Here's my current arsenal that might be potentially used:
Guns - Autogun CTR low,
Voltech Alchemer MKII
Needle Shot ASI low Gremlin low Undead low
Kilowatt Pulsar Slime low
Catalyzer
Swords - WRH
Sealed Sword
Shields - Owlite Shield
Brute Jelly Shield
Bristling Buckler
Armour - Dusker Cap, Dusker Coat Normal Low
(?)PMoS(So I can bypass 4* helm for HoH as well as Ash Tail. Am a hybrid btw, but have been using wolver line)

So taking into consideration the fact that the above listed can and eventually will be upgraded, what loadout will be best?
Also, may consider getting a trinket slot for my heart trinky xD

Alchemer, Pulsar, Hammer,

Alchemer, Pulsar, Hammer, Owlite, and get some elemental/fire resist gear. You basically want to stay the hell away from everything, using your Hammer if you need to get up close and personal.

I only have 2 weapon slots

I only have 2 weapon slots though, so would I go with the Alchemer or the Pulsar?

If you can dodge, the

If you can dodge, the alchemer. Otherwise the pulsar.

If you want to minimize the

If you want to minimize the disruption, you want to avoid the pulsar at all cost. In fact, in most cases, bringing a pulsar will hinder the team as a whole.

Both Alchemer and Needle shot are not disruptive, but Needle Shot may be a little bit too dangerous for your first try, so stick with the alchemer.

WRH is good if it's 5*, so that you have a real weapon, otherwise take a Sealed Sword to push things back.

Perfect Mask of Seerus is a must have since it's your only 5* piece of armor, as well as having fire resistance.

Owlite is good for that reason too, but try to at least upgrade it to 3*.

Okay, if you're absolutely

Okay, if you're absolutely green with a pulsar, then don't bring it to FSC. But if you've spent a dozen or so missions with it in a team and you understand how it does, and more importantly, how it doesn't work, then feel free to bring it along.

@Fradow Thing is I'm also

@Fradow Thing is I'm also worried that my ricochets from the alchemer might aggro certain enemies that might otherwise be neutral, or hit some switch and kill us all xD
Yes, the WRH is 5*.
I don't actually have the PMoS, but I could do one more run to have 3 fragments, and then save up for the horrendous crafting costs.
And yes, I was going to upgrade it to 3* xD
@Irthan OK then... So I don't bring it unless I know what I'm doing. So don't bring it xP
@All thanks for the advice :D

If you run with me a few

If you run with me a few times you'll figure out how to use it. And the alchemer ricochet is a very minor nuisance in the worst case (not even worth being concerned about, actually) and a huge boon in the best case. There's a reason I bring both Polaris and Hail Driver with me.

Ah. I have killed a teammate with my ricochet before tho(went flying into a blast cube :c)
And is that also an invitation for me to run with you a few times? xD

there are plenty of fsc

there are plenty of fsc videos on youtube. if you just want to learn what fsc is like, this is the quick and painless way, though many of these videos can be too polished to show you what you shouldn't do.

ironically, looking at that gear set i'd say that the kilowatt pulsar is the most viable weapon :P all you need to do is push some monsters into a corner away from your teammates and keep them suppressed there, and all will be well. dont try to use the pulsar for damage because that often leads to hordes in teammates' faces, constant blinding flashes that cause frame rates to drop and the fact that its 3* means it wont hurt nearly enough anyways. you should ask your teammates if your pulsar is helping or harming. i was constantly annoying my teammates with questions when i was first learning to bomb - it was a fast way to become helpful rather than remaining the liability i started out as -_-'

do bring all the fire resist you can though, i imagine most of the times you will die is because of the 9 second burn. remember that the shield only helps you resist fire if you are shielding!

Processing Thoughts of You Always

If you're bringing a Pulsar, please reserve it primarily for use against turrets - keep up a steady stream of bullets in order to suppress fire, e.g. against the Rocket Puppy in the second level. You can also use it to push enemies into mist bombs or keep them away from your teammates in order to give them some breathing room, but I would recommend you do this sparingly at best. Your hammer should be your first go-to weapon.
Bring that Owlite, and see if you can manage to get a Miracle Hood and Cloak, since they have fire resistance which will be vital. (The PMoS would make an excellent gunner's replacement if you're close to getting it, though.)
And please remember to listen to your teammates. It's generally considered polite to wait until opening up heart boxes - someone may wish to transfer heat, and leaving them unopened makes it a lot faster to heal up afterwards.

I've been like you before

A tier 2 friend invited me to FSC once...... Sadly it was only the 2 of us. But I must say that my Shockburst brandish destroyed them slags for some reason (I killed 12 of 'em with charge spam.

:/

I personally find it easiest to bomb in FSC :/

Anyways, if you don't have proper equipment, try to stay as defensive as possible.

Don't stand still.
Shield-bump.
Shield-cancel.
Shield when you are near fire blocks.
Watch out for wheels, they will not stop.
Wait around spikes, don't rush.
Take it easy, survival is the mosr important thing.
Knock enemies back.
Don't try to tank hits.
The fire from the red rovers (fire turrets) will follow you.
The slags (fire zombies) have a bad graphical display of their lunge, they can hit you during the whole attack, deal AoE (Area of Effect, widespread) damage upon landing, and can latch onto you. Then they will try to eat you. No, really, they do.

If you want me to drag you through, add me ingame (IGN: irokwe).

Hope I helped, good luck :D

If you work on upgrading that Autogun and learn how to handle it, you'll be useful to the party even if the rest of your gear isn't up to snuff. Don't bother bringing it to FSC until it's 4 stars, though.

So I would assume that takes me to an Ash Tail and a Wise Owlite?
Or should I go upgrading both of my armour pieces to Ash Tail?
