Yesterday I was hit with the realism of what Spiral HQ is ACTUALLY doing on Cradle.
First of all, we are strangers (he he he, get it? No?) on this planet. We crash landed on it and disturbed the peacefulness. Then we started killing the inhabitants of the planet to get to safety. Nobody made any attempt to communicate with them, forcing them to believe that we have bad intentions. Next thing they know, we start cutting away at their home, expanding our dreadful, noisy town. Just when they think that things can't get any worse, we start going deeper into their planet, killing their relatives and family members on their ways. We disturbed all of the troubled souls in the graveyard and all of the kats in owlite keep. We killed a species (Vog Cub) just for its coat, and when it was gone, we started killing its relatives. Spiral HQ tells us to start robbing the planet of its minerals and using them for ourselves.
If it wasn't for us, the Gremlins would have never started to build the Roarmulous Twins. The Snarbolax could've been left in peace, living a peaceful life. The only good we ever did was when we ended King Vanaduke's sad life, and tried to kill the evil swarm within the planet. But in my opinion, these "apologies" are too late. Do you punch someone in the face and then say sorry?
Now we are trying to remove the planet's heart from it, the very core. Earth can't survive without its core, what makes Spiral HQ think Cradle can?
We are such cruel knights.
Yes we are.
