(THIS THREAD CAN BE EDITED AT ANY POINT)
My guild, like most people; enjoy playing around in Spiral Spy and looking at files and models for stuff, new and old, and unknown. However, most of you guys who use Spiral Spy are probably aware of that 'corrupted' style of gear, which appears blue and dark gray.
For those who don't know what these textures are like, follow these links:

This got me thinking of promotion or even just a nice little activity that could go on and further expand on the Shadow Lairs and the Swarm, something avid players of this game would all love to see.
Just like how you needed to find Creep Cakes in the Clockworks, or even Punkin and collect tokens for prize boxes, you could find certain Swarm-infected areas in which you step on a party button, 'Whitespace Swarm' plays as the battle theme, and you need to survive a set amount of time fighting off the Void enemies in that area. After it's completed, you can get a certain amount of tokens just like how Creep Cakes dropped the cake tokens or Punkin dropped candy tokens. These tokens could be traded in for Void Prize Boxes which contain Swarm-themed accessories/costumes that would be Black and Purple in colour. Boxes would cost 50 tokens each.
These rooms would also give bits of lore involving The Swarm. This could also be released alongside a Daily (meaning it cannot be grinded more than once a day, and tokens are awarded AFTER the mission is completed, the mission would reward 5 tokens, and 90 Prestige) mission in which you Traverse a Swarm infected Clockworks tunnel, the tunnel can vary in design much like regular clockwork tunnels (or not, it could be static which would most likely be easier to develop). This could also (and most preferably) be released alongside a general storyline-related content update.

I feel like this would not only get people back in the arcade, but give everyone something to enjoy, including those that cannot afford to go on Shadow Lair runs, and give new players as well as old a taste of the storyline involving The Swarm and The Core and what is to come.
Because this game is spiraling into what sums up to an overpriced cosmetic gear gathering simulator, I for one am a bit skeptical to see more recoloured proto gear. Despite that, I am all for getting the Arcade more love.
Oh. And finding out more about the Swarm. That would be awesome, too!
