As the title explains the game hasn't been launching on my PC. At first, it had seemed as though this was only happening on the steam version. However when I went on the website I can't pass the "play" button after the loading finishes. The game had been working fine a few months ago... But now that decided to play again the game doesn't launch :( In the task manager I do see "java_vw" come up for a few seconds , and steam tells me I'm in game, but it changes back moments later. Any help is appreciated.

Thanks,
Rashdi

???
You don't have to login to use that.

The login form is for in-game requests. Offline mails work.

@Gokudluffy

I have a similar problem, I already posted about it around twice and I think people are just avoiding me for it.

Try reinstalling Java. You could have two versions on it that aren't compatible with each other.

Nope

I have the same problem, and I am running on a Mac OS X Version 10.9.2 with a Processor (2.7 GHz Intel Core i5) and my memory (8GB 1600 MHz DDR3). I have tried loading the application through regular download, on Steam, and on Kongregate and on this website. The application seems to have a problem, it flashes after a couple of seconds after I open the program (On download and Steam). On the websites, it tells me exactly in not centered black text with the spiral knights loading screen:
------------------------0% Complete
m.create_appdir_failed

(The spaces are approximate, and without the dashes) I have reinstalled Java 7.51 on my Mac, but it doesn't seem to work. Also, just for a good measure, I have a extremely large screen, so the screen is compatible with the application. I also have tried reinstalling Spiral Knights and followed the Steps in the Forums. It "Updates" and after it updates, sometimes it creates a new screen (like when playing Hearthstone or some type of other game) in full screen. But, the application turns black and flashes and creates a seizure movement for a split second or one second, I have been playing Spiral Knights for ages and ages to come. The application also worked for me last year and this year in January. I would give you my Java Console, but I don't know how to get there. But, another thing to put in, my laptop, somehow can run the application fine without any problems. My laptop is a Macbook Air running Mac OS X Version 10.7.5 with a processor (1.4 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo) and my memory (2GB 1067 MHz DDR3) with Java Version of (dunno, but it has Java Visual VM).

Same problem here. I try to

Same problem here. I try to run it and it puts java over and over in my task manager. Then it will finally pop up and say there are other instances of itself. I close all the javas. I try it on the site. Does the same. I'm sure if I tried on all of the alternatives the same will happen.

And it did and I already

And it did and I already tried reinstalling everything(including java), uninstalling and reinstalling everything, and using older versions of java. I feel like this should be an addressed problem.

I think I stated this before, but when I try loading SpiralSpy it can't load any models and says "invalid pixel format.''
