Q1:Is it pronounced Fau-sit or Fau-ost?

Q2:Is the faust line better or the night blade line?I like the faust because of the knockback, high dps and chance of curse.

Q3:What shadow gun is better the umbra driver,Sentenza or the Biohazard?
I farm rjp alot and most of the times alone so thats the thing i have the Mighty Cobalt set with the shield.

1. "Faust" is a single syllable. It's like the English word "fist", except that the vowel sounds like the English word "ow": "fowst". Faust is actually a classic European folktale, in which a man trades his soul to the devil for magical powers. Read Wikipedia to learn more.

2. My opinion on Gran Faust vs. Acheron (and their precursors) is here: http://wiki.spiralknights.com/User:Jdavis/Swords#Shadow_Swords.

3. The three shadow guns have really different play styles. Sentenza, like Argent Peacemaker, is very easy to use, does decent damage, has good range, etc. It's a simple gun, with no surprises, other than that the charge attack is bad (because it immobilizes you for such a long time). Umbra Driver, like Nova Driver, is harder to use, but delivers superior damage in the hands of an expert. Biohazard uses the Catalyzer play style, where you slowly set up charge attacks, and then detonate them with a regular attack. This gun is fun, but it shouldn't really be your first shadow gun. My opinion: If you're focused on having a decent gun in the short term, consider Sentenza. If you want a better gun in the long term, get Umbra Driver.

You should strongly consider switching armors. See the armor section of my sword guide linked above.

1. Doctor Faust is a german character, if that helps the pronounciation.

2. The answer is : there is no "best" : both of them are unique. Just a thing though : Faust doesn't have "high dps", it has a high width that lets you hit more mobs at once. In single-target dps, nightblade definitely win (not by a huge margin, about 25% higher). Nightblade also win on the charge, since GF charge is almost unusable (horribly long charging time, can curse you and only have 1 projectile).

3. The 3 are differents, in my opinion :
- Umbra is the go-to pure gunslinger gun. It's not that easy to use, but have the highest theoric dps
- Sentenza is the go-to shadow side-arm for swordsmen. It's easy to use : just aim roughly and pewpewpew.
- Biohazard is the "fun" gun, that is really hard to use because of slow bullets (protip : don't use it in a party with swordsmen), but can do some huge explosions. I wouldn't recommend it.

I second Bopp on changing your armor and shield. Especially the armor.

Nightblade>Faust: RJP

2. The Faust line is better for defensive fighting, wide swings and knock-back mean spread-out damage.
Nightblade is better for small fights/fast enemies(Charge attack is great), and in general lots of damage in a short time on 1-2 targets.

Nightblade(4-5*) charges are definitely better than Faust for RJP (Combuster has the most DPS of both, fire on charge).

Try both, I still prefer my Faust for clockworks runs since it just feels right being able to hold back an army of enemies.
