Um... I don't want to be percieved as "offensive" as you may have interpeted Unique Variant's post to be, but getting a volvanic wolver tail at One-Million crowns is some what underpricing it. Unfortunately for those whom seek Volcanic Wolver Tails (such as one of my good friends) featured auctions seem to be the easiest and cheapest way to get them. You may get lucky and find one for One-Million crowns, but I would expect to pay 2.5 Million and up.

Price reference. A lot of people want those little buggers. I personally collected the greatest Volcanic wolver tail bounty (hosted by porphyrophobia, including 2 non-promo toupees, a hacked aura, and COOL WINGS), and on an average these shinies go for 2 million cr or more. So yeah, you've got a bit of saving to do...

i could have put it more delicately but these threads become a pet-peeve.
Really, thats by no means a tiny sampling. That thread contains virtually every volcanic wolver tail ever sold. (i've never heard of one being opened of a lockbox--and if its ever happened its less than 5-2% of all those seeded into the game).
That thread proves that one time as an extreme outlier, someone managed to snag one for less than a million. But you can't really view an extreme outlier as proof. And you'd be basically asking the most fortunate purchaser of these extemely rare and desired items to sell it to you for a 100k profit when he could easily make 500k to 1m more.
There was a thread of advice in my post that shouldn't be ignored. If its an item you really want, you should be willing to step up and pay at the very least, fair market value. And in reality, you should be offering a premium because you are requesting an instantaneous procurement of an item that requires careful plannning and tedious watching to obtain almost everytime. No one enjoys the process of making sure to be hope at a certain time and place and the having to deal with the bidding price.
but if you can find one for 1m, more power to you. I'd love to snag one for that myself but would never expect it.
