Just curious...
How dangerous is a Calibur charge in LD
charging in general isn't the best idea. Well, in t2 anyway, t3 has those damn brandish spammers >_>
anyway, when you charge you weapon you're left wide open to damage. you cant dash and dodge, put up your shield, or cloak.
Also, when you're charging (holding charge), you don't have invincibility either.
Charge fights between alchemers and brandishes are fun - someone usually ends up dying in one hit.
In tier 2, it's more something I laugh at than anything else. All you gotta do is poke them in the arse with a Flourish and the knockback bumps them just enough so their charge misses completely. Even if it does hit, you just go flying away with rather pitiful damage done.
I have FoV, and i can add my 2 cents;
-That charge is pretty useless in defence, or fight with gunners.
-Not so bad, when you will use the element of suprise.
-U re boss, when fight with swords only foe, particulary, when you have CTR.
I'd say that tempered calibur is good in t2 with dusker and full max heat with guardian or striker for the damage boost lol. FoV is definitely more suitable.

Very easy to dodge, and leaves user completely open to SS and Rocket Hammer, for their reach is longer and the knockback keeps the aggressor safe from the spin.
Damage is alright, and it's about as viable as the Brandish charges. Use only if you're with a ton of teammates and your target doesn't notice you.
I haven't actually tried but let's say one strike from a Levi charge deals 450 damage. That's it due to invinciframes.
450 can be compared to...
-The final attack in a Brandish combo;
-First attack of DA/GF.
So, it shouldn't be that much of a threat, though it might one-shot a striker without extra health and even bring a Guardian to their armoured knees, begging for mercy and then shoving their Flourish up your chest when you choose to spare them.
