Mist Well - instanced with quota

Problem: Mist Wells are linked to the same pool of Mist and therefore undifferentiated in Guild Records. This prohibits guilds to implement different policies on individual Mist Well.

Scenarios: a guild would like to implement two policies on Mist Well. The first policy is used to disperse Mist as donation to members (Free-for-all model). The second policy (Regulated model) is used to maintain quota on the Mist Well, so that members who contributed CE would get a fair share of their Mist in return (120% or lower). Since Mist Well is currently not instantized, these two polices become mutually exclusive.

Proposed solution: allow individual Mist Wells to keep their own mist pool and differentiate them in Guild Records. A better solution would be to allow us to program quota logic into the Mist Wells themselves.

Quota logic.

For each Mist Well, Officer or GM can select the lowest rank that is covered either one of these models: "Free for all" or "Regulated". Any ranks below the defined lowest rank will be prohibited from accessing the Mist Wells.

"Free for all" is self explanatory. "Regulated" means for each person who can access a well, (s)he can only withdraw up to 120% of the amount that (s)he has previously invested into that well. e.g. if a person has invested 0 CE, (s)he can withdraw at most 120% x 0 = 0 Mist.

By default, the lowest rank is "Member" and the quota model is "Regulated". A special check box can be used to indicate the well is running under "Free for all" model.

Scenarios.

  1. Members only. No action required.
  2. Free for all. Set the lowest rank to Recruit and check the "Free for all" checkbox.
  3. Free for all members. Set the lowest rank to Member and check the "Free for all" checkbox.
  4. Regulated. Set the lowest rank to Recruit.
  5. Staff only. Set the lowest rank to Officer.
