To begin, I don't even know how to describe this situation. It started happening, this evening, after I returned home from a vacation and booted up my computer.
Trying to start up my Spiral Knights application through the Shortcut on my Desktop

Deleted the Directory after 5 attempts:

Any help would be appreciated! :)
On my Windows System, the directory that it is installed is the following:
C:\Users\Mars543\AppData\LocalLow\spiral
I have not had problems with this directory at all until last night.
The first image mentioned something about the geddown.txt file and it mentions something about downloading data from the Spiral Knights servers in the second. I truthfully have no idea what's causing this as I've had no problems with this before.
Java version:

Probably because of Java 7 I'm guessing, huh?

The problem seems to be occuring through the version.txt file not being found. I'm not sure what could be causing this issue however.
Apparently the issue solved itself when I included a blank version.txt in the install directory.
Does OOO not include the version.txt in the install of Spiral Knights? Because if they don't, they really should.
Could be something to do with the directory that its in. Can you install it anywhere else? Also consider uninstalling the game, checking your drive for errors, and then re-installing it. Also check the privileges of the directory SK is installed into.
