Okay, I'm going to try to do this again, except without the silly in-character explanations. For those who don't know what the hell I'm talking about:

I once made a thread intent on answering questions on answering all things clockworkian with a twist, all of them would be answered in the manner of a scientist and his assistant responding to various request by the general public on how various things works.
Unfortunately, that thread quickly failed. Why? Probably due to the massive wall of text that resulted from combining in-depth information with character interaction and talking. And maybe the fact that there was no way to find posts on objects already explained. Not sure about the latter, but definitely positive about the former.

So with all that in mind I decided to recreate that thread with a few crucial differences.
EDIT: Removed ego-inflating paragraphs. Just ask me what you want some info on and I'll try my best to answer it.

Mispelled "unobfuscate" there.

Anyways, the title seemed interesting enough for me to visit the page and all in all, I'd give this thread a...

WAIT WHY AM I CRITICISING?!

The Core

You are looking for what resides inside the Core, aren't you? You want to know what sleeps inside, wearing the Core as one may wear a suit of armour. Unfortunately for you I cannot say. But I can give you ideas. I can give you the theories of other Knights and the evidence to support it. Make of that what you may.

RE: Cfearw

The link below should be able to help you.

If you are still confused, then head over to the other link below and create a thread over there. You should receive a reply explaining the process, eventually.

Ghret, what goes on inside Luguiru's mind?

Luguiru's mind

This is one of the most strangest of all minds that we have had the pleasure - or displeasure, depending on your experiences - to meet. After looking over this one's posting on the Forum we have deduced the following:

Their gender is unknown so the neutral-gender pronoun of "Shkle" and "Shkley" shall be used instead.

  • Shkle has an unrepentant caustic sense of humour, attacking ideas that Shkley believe are unworthy.
  • However, Shkley do not do this without cause - usually. After explaining in a semi-serious manner why the opposing persons idea sucks, Shkley will then proceed to tell them a variation of "Good try" and tell them how they could improve it.
In this manner, Shkle is actually a constructive voice in any argument on developing suggestions.
  • As for when Shkle actually makes an post...
  • They tend to either make an humorous comment with barely-to-none tangential association with the topic on-hand, or they gel the fragments of their mind together long enough to make something half-coherent before it falls back into a goop.

TL;DR
Many things go on in Shkle's mind. Most revolving around irrelevant, but chuckle-worthy, anecdotes which leave nowhere. Followed up by an kernel of knowledge distributed unevenly in a jelly of juxtaposing words, which, in their own way, make sense.

Nope. Still too long.
He makes funny sentences, and sometimes the funny sentences have sensible sentences in them, okay?

Proto Gun

This requires a quick, dodgy illustration to fully explain. And, hello? What this?

As you can see, the handgun remains the same throughout each of these iterations. The only differences between them (beside superficial decals) is the parts named 1 and 2 on the first picture. These are what actually decide what the gun does.

Part 1 is the power cell and provides the energy to be shaped and expelled through the barrel. Changing this part changes the damage type and effect.

Part 2 is the barrel and shapes the energy provided by the energy cell. This part further refines the damage type and effect.

From this you can deduce one of two things: either you will try to see what will happen if you mix and match power cells and barrels and up blowing your hand off since the barrel was not designed to process that type of energy, or you will remove the barrel in an attempt to create a gun capable of firing pure energy and get left with a glorified flash-light (emphasis on the flash) since you need a barrel to process the energy into something useful.
And then there are the people who remove the power cell or both the cell and barrel and just go around beating monsters up with the disassembled gun. These are the ones who should not be given Tier 2 clearance.
