Only Cheese is true.
The one that will allow me to stuff it with 100k Light Shards.
On a more serious note, even hypothesizing about this would be very difficult since very little is known about how these sprites will help out in battle. We know the basic, basics of what each one will be for. That is not enough to determine which is the most useful though.

Swords, hee-hee ho!
Since I love going all out with swords (specially the heavy kind), the one that buffs your defense and allows you to tank will probably be the more useful for me, since i really doubt the attack one can buff my sword bonus any higher then max :V

No one needs defense so that rules one out.
It's a matter of what will give more DPS, raw damage from the dragon or the debuffs form the masked thing.
The one that is better than the other two.
