The name is very descriptive...anyhow, can a small chance be added for Almirian crusaders to drop their all-powerful shadow lances upon their 'death'? It would make the ultimate gremlin and slime killing tool (and the worst fiend and undead killer...)

You know it's a reskinned flourish that deals shadow damage, right?

Yep

I do know that. It might be more of a novelty than anything else, but it would still be cool to best a pain-in-the-butt enemy, get exceedingly lucky, and acquire a weapon even more dangerous in lockdown than a normal toothpick.

... and acquire a weapon even more overpowered in lockdown than a normal toothpick.

Fixed that for you.

If it was a wep, it would

If it was a wep, it would have to be a novelty like the thwaker hammer and wrench wand (sadly) are.

Oh...

How about making it slightly weaker than a toothpick? After all very few lockdown players have significant shadow defense...

How about making it half normal damage like all melee weapons should be? Then you can do whatever the hell you want with it, lockdown, clockworks or otherwise ^^

I like the idea, but not this. Maybe a reskinned flourish (same stats - it will deal piercing) that is very rare.

OOO's COULD do that. But don't they need information on how it works first? ._. You should be the one to tell them that... Especially considering no one else is telepathic and has the same idea as you.. Just saying... You really should include info on its mechanics....

@Hexzyle, Half normal weapons are in almost everyway superior to pure damage weapons; the exception being LD, where the difference is minute. Oh wait, these are swords we're talking about. They're supposed to be better than all other weapons.

What I had in mind

Basically what I was thinking was that these weapons would indeed simply be re-skinned, shadow damage flourishes. Ones that are a pain in the butt to obtain. However, the charge attack could differ somewhat - perhaps simply a charge similar to that which deadnaughts use (I.E charging forward dealing massive damage and knockback to whatever it hits?)
