Spiral Knights is a great game to be skilled at, but it doesn't have many minigames. I thought of a strategy minigame sort of like those tower defense games or something, that type of stuff.
For instance, if you chose a graveyard map, you'd be given a candle tower that slows enemies down and is the only tower that can damage the boss for the map, a Grinchlite (Those things in candlestick keep things, I can't find them on the wiki, so I don't know the proper name) would be the boss for the map.
Element towers would be, fire, ice, and shock, those would be the options for the map.
Strategy Minigame
play sanctum and your need of self interaction during tower defence is fullfilled
Maybe you could spawn a mecha knight or something and control it on the battlefield, and for 2 player mode, one person sends the waves, the other defends, what do you think?
I've done the Candlestick Keep so many times that I found that there is a place almost like tower defense. Sort of a path with howlitzers firing at you from all over the place.
It would help more to make a well thought out idea rather than just saying what the game could have.
Tower defense games... people know what I'm talking about if I use that as my description, besides, I don't want to overcomplicate things, but I'll think of some details overtime
When you say "strategy" that means complicated details.
When I say "ice cream", then you say "ice cream", we should all scream for ice cream. Especially if the ice cream truck is carrying homicidal refrigerators armed with ice cube cannons set to shredded flesh.
@Captainshockwave get used to it, thats just luguriu.
It's the sarcastic guy that tries to kill 99% of suggestions.
Correction: the guy with the amusing nonsensical posts that tries to kill off 99% of the bad/poorly thought suggestions while building on the better ones.
I was going to write a nature commentary on "the Luguiru in its natural habitat" but it became too silly after the first sentence.
After the third it became about vomiting on ballerina pixies.
Tower defense games are predictable. Once someone finds a good combination and posts it on youtube, BAM everyone wins.
Also how would it be? 2 players, who can resist more waves? This kind of minigame doesnt fit a MMO.
