First the question:
Shouldn't Weapon Damage Bonus be less as compared to Damage Bonus vs a specific family e.g like if you have Max Gun Damage Bonus shouldn't it do less damage to Slimes as compared to a Max Slime Damage Bonus?

Now the FSC part i currently have 3.2kce,40kcr and a Glacius i am aiming for a Divine Viel and then a Chaos Armor with a Crest of Almire later. The weapon i will be making before the Divine Veil is the Argent Peacemaker. So will this be a good combo for FSC?And i'm also thinking of making and Electron Vortex or Voltaic Tempest with the former being for DPS and Crowd Control.

They follow the same scale so they add on top of each other. What happens if you have vh damage bonus and you get a med slime UV?
You get a total of max slime.

If they were independant such stacking would clash. And could lead to crazy results.

As for Chaos and FSC..... if you can handle it go for it.

@Rabeet

I think most would agree with your view on damage bonuses, however, this is not how it actually works. The bonuses are equivalent.

Divine Veil is a dated choice for FSC, but not a horrible one. I think Blitz is more important than Argent for FSC.

The others have responded to your comment about designing damage bonuses. They may not be perfectly balanced, but there are bigger flaws in the design of the game, that should be addressed before damage bonuses are adjusted.

I agree that there are far better choices than Divine Veil for FSC. It's not bad, but it lacks normal protection, and Vanaduke, trojans, and slag guards all do lots of normal damage.

Now for the gun. Are you planning to fight Vanaduke solo? Then you have many choices in guns. Blitz Needle is the most popular, due to its high damage output, but it lacks mobility. Argent Peacemaker is a decent choice for a highly mobile gun. If you are planning to fight Vanaduke in a party, then there is no question that Blitz Needle is preferred. In fact, Argent may be counterproductive, if your team is freezing Vanaduke and you're breaking the freeze with tiny Argent Peacemaker shots.

No,i won't be soloing so i think i will go with Blitz Needle and what do you guys think should i go after EV or VT?And then the point of monster family damage bonus is lost as its equivilant to your normal damage bonuses.

Electron Vortex will be able

Electron Vortex will be able to massively increase the output DPS of a group, primarily because it pulls enemies into a tight clump, onto which your group can unleash three or four charge attacks.

Since the chaos cloak has CTR

Since the chaos cloak has CTR Medium bonus, Argent Peacemaker wouldn't be the best combo. To be honest AP's charge is useless and risky in FSC hence AP is a waste of the bonus on Chaos cloak. I would replace the AP by Blitz Needle as others said.

And as Bopp said there are lots of source of normal damage. Trojan at first, Ultra Blast Cube (Jelly that explode), Slag Guards and Vanaduke himself. Blast Cubes can be dangerous if you are not paying attention as the explosion happens multiple times (normal damage) also it can push you into fire trap or something. In my opinion, normal damage protection is as important as elemental/shadow defense in FSC and fiend bonus is not so useful except on trojan. Additionally, Divine veil cancels out the fire penalty on chaos plus gives Medium amount of positive fire protection on you. However Medium amount of protection only reduces 1 second of fire or so. It doesn't affect on your surviving rate as much. I would not take Divine Veil into FSC; it lacks normal protection, it has a pointless bonus, and it reduces only a second of fire with chaos cloak. Therefore I would rather take other helms like Vog/Snarbolax, Shadowsun and another piece of Chaos.

Here is my thought for your future FSC set:
-Glacius
-Blitz Needle
-Electron Vortex
(-Side arm gun/sword/bomb)

-Chaos Cowl
-Chaos Cloak
-Swift Strike Buckler

-Elite Slash Module
-Elite Trueshot Module

=Sword: DMG MAX, CTR MAX(lvl10), ASI High~
=Gun: DMG MAX, CTR MAX(lvl10), ASI High~
=Bomb: DMG Very High~, CTR MAX(lvl10), (ASI High)

This is similar to my loadout (Mine is voltedge and has ASI UV on it)
The positive point is you can max out almost everything without UVs, this is very offensive loadout so you can run FSC a lot faster.

BUT it requires a lot of skills as it will set you on 10 seconds of fire (you're pretty much one hit dead without a vitapod) and you cannot rely on the shield, it breaks in 1-2 hits in Tier 3. You need to be good at dodging.
So I wouldn't recommend this set for people who are not able to solo Vanaduke yet. However, it is a very good thing to start practicing from now on, and that is why I have written the offensive set here. The more you practice, the faster you get better.

At first, I recommend you to buy ONE remedy in the FSC lobby for the case of an accident to run into lava until you get used to the fire penalty. Even if you buy a remedy, it is more profitable than being burnt dead body and spending CE on reviving. As you do FSC runs, you will not need to buy a remedy again, your dodging skill will be improved a lot. Just be careful and predict the movement of monsters.

If possible, I encourage you to buy a magic set with Fire medium UVs which cancels out the fire penalty of the chaos set. I don't know about the price of current magic set market but before the chaos set buff, they were not too expensive. ~20k per piece.

Anyway, it was just a recommendation from a Chaos Set Fan so you don't have to pay attention to everything I said, just pay attention to the Blast Cubes :>

Thankyou Eclaium for the

Thankyou Eclaium for the extensive reply and i think Slag Guards do around 1.5-2 bars of normal damage and 6-7 bars of shadow damage with my Might Cobalt set so i think shadow protection is very important.
