At least I think it was during Winter 2011.
I remember I had bought a santa hat back then but I can't find it in my inventory now that I check for it, can I ask if this happened to someone else as well?
Is this an error or did everyone lose their santa hats? I've not seen someone else with one like it yet, but they might just be very rare for all I know, I only came back about a week ago.

Those were temporary from that event. I think only for a month.

EDIT: The reason why I never bothered to get one.

That's pretty horrible, why were they temporary if all other events items haven't been? Did they give any explanation?
Also, might I ask how you got a display picture?

Certain items from events do expire, it says so in the item description. Some of the Halloween masks had an expiration date as well.

And yeah I found it stupid that those expired. They expired from this Winterfest too. At least this Winterfest had more to do.
But the item description had a disclaimer of when they expire so not OOO's fault there.

This is what happens when you don't read the item descriptions or the announcements. You're a year late to say anything.
It's not like they didnt warn us. Expiration dates where shown everywhere.

I'm not trying to file a complaint, I'm simply asking why they made the decision.
