So I bought a Blitz Needle, because I needed a 5 star gun to move on through the ranked missions. But I personally don't like the the oppressive fire. It shoots 2 rounds of bullets and then needs to reload. It doesn't give me that much mobility with projectiles since I can't move while I shoot.

Is this a good gun or should I sell it for a different 5 star gun? because it is already bound to me.

Its an excellent gun,

Its an excellent gun, especially against Vana. It's charge shot does MASSIVE damage, but it takes timing to use it right.
You cant just run around shooting it, you have to wait for an opening, and take your shot. Time it wrong, and you'll lost a nice chuck of health.

I'll try getting accustomed to the new way of shooting. I don't really use this type of gun. But I'll give it a shot. Thanks for your opinion. Any cons besides of the strategy to using the gun? I just want to know if it was worth my purchase.

I was going the silversix route to argent peacemaker. But I was impatient and I bought a Blitz Needle instead, since it was cheaper.

don't sell

Don't sell it. As you play more, you will see people using it more, and you will learn how to use it well. Or maybe you can experiment yourself. As Ndognine-Forums suggested, most people use it for the charge attack, which kills almost everything in the game. For example, in Legion of Almire you can walk up to a sleeping Almirian crusader and kill it instantly with a Blitz charge.

In case you're in the habit of buying a bunch of 5-star stuff: 4- and 5-star items can be sold only after they are unbound, which costs a lot of money, and this cost is passed on to the buyer. So don't buy them. It's cheaper and more satisfying (in my opinion) to make them yourself.

It has a lot of power... for a cost. Usually the enemy will be dead so it wont matter if you stay quiet.

piercing can`t be used vs beasts and fiends ?!

The Blitz needle is too powerful. It`s charge can deal 4 000 damage (the swords must be more powerful than guns !!) to fiends/beasts at Stratum 6 but you can`t move while shooting, which means you must VERY careful.
Piercing is best vs beasts and fiends (I mean devilites) but they both are too fast and will easily dodge \and hit/kill you\...Even one of the worst guns-the Callahan will be better when fighting against beasts and fiends.
Even at FSC I would use the Blitz ONLY vs Vanaduke...But the choice is yours.Maybe with some experience you will learn how to use it without any risk :)

@Ednodvetri, I don't know what you're talking about, the Blitz charge destroys Beasts and Devlites.

I can't really call it a good

I can't really call it a good piercing gun since the only other comparable piercing gun is the Callahan and it's relatively terrible for general-purpose gunslinging. So I'll have to say that, yes, the Blitz Needle is a good piercing gun.....compared to the competition.

It's an effective weapon, but not a very fun weapon.

Toss it off a cliff and get a Volcanic Pepperbox instead. Much more fun.

...

Blitz is the best PVE gun in the game. Period.

Use it to charge spam. On anything that isn't resistant to pierce.

Even if you don't like using it, don't sell, as it is basically required for Vana parties.

If you use the normal shots, you're generally doing it wrong.

(IRL, using the normal shots lets you get a few sneaky hits on Vana without getting maced, but for anything apart from a non-Frozen Vana/interrupting Greavers, you should only be using the charge.)

Blitz Needle is horrible against devilites

They keep dodging relentlessly, so do the wolvers. It's probably decent against undeads and gremlins (who also dodges). Only enemies it does good on are the Trojans, Chromalisk, Deadnaughts, Scorchers, and Vanaduke and Maulos and Arkus. I wouldn't suggest it against Snarbolax though...

Dark Briar Barrage is the best weapon for devilites and wolvers. I rest my case. It's even better than the toothpicks (At PvE of course)

As noted by others, it's an

As noted by others, it's an awesome weapon if you get the hang for it; it's got top-tier burst damage, overall DPS, AND range, and becomes a hideolariously powerful beast when combined with lots of CTR. I don't think it's essential, though, so you won't exactly be crippled by not having it.

Swiftstrike Buckler might be a nice set of training wheels to help get a feel for Autoguns. It was for me; I mostly ignored the Autoguns for a long time until one day when, on a whim, I used one with my Swiftstrike, which allowed me to use the charge attack more easily due to dramatically shorter vulnerable period after firing. I was hooked instantly, and have since gotten both a Strike Needle and Fiery Pepperbox. The Needler is my favourite Pierce weapon, except against Greavers, though the latter might change as I get more experience and/or due to the recent HP buff. The Pepperbox is something I prefer to use when I don't feel like I need the Brandish to handle a situation, not so much because it can burn down a Lumber in one charged volley as because I find the weird gun more satisfying to use than the sword. I don't need the ASI to get good use of the weapons anymore, and am actually considering trying Plate mail...

If you find that Autoguns are just not something you can enjoy using, I can confidently recommend a toothpick or a Spinecone as an alternative for Pierce damage, if you like swords or bombs at all; both are really nice, and considered essential for any one heavily invested in their classes. (sword, gun, bomb) As for the other Pierce gun, I tried a Magnus but damage is underwhelming and, much more importantly, projectile behaviour is flaky for me. I keep meaning to see if Auto-target makes it reliable, but just keep forgetting. The problem I'm having with it is shared with Jelly guns, so if you're having no problems hitting with Antigua, then I recommend trying the Magnus if you're into Pierce guns, especially if you play in a party often and/or do anything vaguely like Alchemer-switching; the way it makes Beasts and Gremlins stop squirming for a moment is often very welcome in a party, particularly with heavy sword users, and the cooldown and switch is fast enough that you can also combo the Magnus with a sword of your own.

The Pepperbox is mostly a luxury item, since the Fire Brandish seems to do its jobs surprisingly well; the half-Elemental sword handles Beasts and Gremlins better than the all-Normal gun! I haven't found a practical reason to recommend the Pepperbox, it's just a really fun alternative if it happens to be your cup of tea, so don't worry about that one. If you do find yourself falling in love with Autoguns, just be warned that the Normal one has noticeably less damage than the Pierce one, the charge attack has enough knockback to make it a bit tricky to get full damage, (kinda like Calibur, I guess- pinning against a wall might be the easiest technique to start with) the way part of its damage is from Fire makes it less predictable (might kill in one blast some but not all of the time, and when it does it might be instant sometimes and take a few Fire tick intervals other times) and it's also different in a few subtle ways. (mostly projectile movement)
