If you don't know me, I'm a hipster all the way. I'm going to get both aforementioned items, but I'm also going to get triglav. Which requires krogmo coins.

What weapon would be better for lockdown?

ATM I run with a fearless rigadoon, sudaruska, and supernova. I am garbed in the chaos set (I got it before the mega-buff) and usually play guardian, though I can play recon well too.

Thoughts?

Easily BAB. Its near

Easily BAB. Its near impossible to effectively use the charge of the biohazard in lockdown. However, BAB has a huge radius and can be a major deterrent against other players. And with the way-too-op buffs from the way-too-op chaos, Id say it'd be pretty easy to just spam the BAB all over the place, at least more effectively than you could before(which you really couldn't spam it before).

Biohazard is pants slow.

It's fun to play with and mauls jellies and gremlins, but if you try to hit a knight with it they're liable to dodge and backstab you before the bullet got even halfway there.

I've done extensive testing with Biohazard/Neutralizer in Lockdown. Aside from the difficulty of landing a charge (freeze helps, btw lol), the charge's damage/owner registration is really glitchy:

- If you are tagged by a catalyzer charge attack, shoot a bullet, and run along side it, you can detonate yourself
- Catalyzer charge will not do damage on anything, not even other people in its radius
- Biohazard's charge will deal poison on anyone except the person who owned the original shot: this includes the owner's teammates.

Anyway, that said, the use of Biohazard in lockdown is for its range, shadow damage, and slow bullet speed. Only use normal shots, shooting ahead in time to block your opponent's movement.

ex: If you're shooting to the left, then you're basically mindcontrolling your opponent to move to the right or directly in front of you. If they go left, then you get a hit, and that's still good.

While that concept applies to any gun, because catalyzer bullets are slow, they're visible for much longer, so they affect your opponent's vision and movement more than a bullet that lasts for like half a second.

In long range, I use Biohazard to control my opponents, but to deal damage, I actually use it close range: if you predict your opponent's approach and attack (swordsmen) you can leave a Biohazard bullet there before they move into it. If you're in close range, they're more likely to keep trying to swing, at which point you can start doing fade shots (stepping backwards while shooting) just a little bit to ensure you're out of their actual attack range. Really impatient/bad players with 3 hit swords tend to try to use their combo, which just makes them slash and move into your next bullet.

...yeah

so anyway, you can bully bad players with biohazard.

@Seiran: Ah, I remember somebody posting some tests they did similar to your tests, it might have been you for all I can remember. But I think I remembered them stating how difficult it was using the catalyzers effectively in LD. Well, guess I stand corrected.

Imo if you have 3* gear play

Imo if you have 3* gear play 3* and use the hammer, fastest way to get krogs. I think a couple days ago i did this and made 50 krogs in like 2 hours.
