Hi, ive been doing some comparisons between triglav and Glacius. It seems that in almost every aspect, Glacius is better. Is the troika family underpowered ?
Glacius has no knockback on normal hits but thats not an issue, the Charge attack, in addition to (CTR) makes it seem like this weapon is far superior especially in terms of damage output.. Also, it has split damage between elemental an normal with great attack speed, not to mention the sword has a high chance of freeze.
My question is this.
While the Triglav has a knockback on hit outside of charge, why does it not have a higher chance of freezing than Glacius ? The issue here is Glacuis is capable of almost always freezing upon charge hits, in addition it strikes faster and has a CTR. Shouldnt Triglav have a Higher chance to freeze due to the speed of the weapon and the fact that the charge takes far longer than Glacuis ? It would seems far more balanced that way in my opinion.
What do you guys think ? Also please feel free to correct me if any of my information is incorrect.
(from what i understand the only thing that could possibly make triglav appealing is that its damage is baseline against everything).
It's probably the fact that Trig itself is a heavy sword. If it had a higher chance to freeze, then its knockback and regular and charge attacks would be almost always negated. Unlike the glacius, the trig can freeze on regular swings, which is supposedly meant to compensate for it's not great freeze chance. Frankly, trig is a niche weapon and kinda like the FoV (in some twisted sense) in the fact that it really isn't a common weapon and it's charge is it's most special thing (trig and fov charge :D). Glacius seems more op because it is part of the brandish line, the most common sword line in-game for any knight.
