Fiery atomizer vs Voltaic tempest ?

I use gravitation vortex as second weapon, so voltaic makes a great combo.
But there are a few bad things, no nock back (sword), move is a bit unpredicable, can break things, hard to get UV... BUT deals more damage than fiery when there are lots of ennemys.

Fiery makes much more damage and i can get a good UV.

So what should i take?

presumably you mean AoA vs. VT

Presumably you mean Ash of Agni vs. Voltaic Tempest. VT can do lots of damage if the enemies are packed tightly, but I think that AoA does more damage against a loose crowd. Of course, it doesn't inhibit the monsters' movements and attacks, which can be a bad thing or a good thing. They have equal knockback. Oh, you must have meant that shock hinders knockback? Yes.

They're both great, so you should get both eventually. I think that VT is a higher priority, because it can really help you survive against crowds of devilites and that kind of thing.

If you use electron vortex

If you use electron vortex instead of graviton, you don't really need VT so much.

ok, thx Yes i meant AoA, just

ok, thx
Yes i meant AoA, just forgot.

I can get only one of the two weapons, im a free player, so a 5* weapon is a long way to go.

Another question that could help me: in low depths there are often only 4 or 5 monsters together. In middle depths 5-10 monsters. Whats happens in high depth? (more than 20) because VT is probably better than AoA when there are lots of ennemies

no, not really

In deeper parts of the Clockworks, monsters are not necessarily more numerous. I mean, sometimes they are numerous, such as when all of the gremlins in a deconstruction zone glom together. But the main difficulty increase is not how many there are, or how much health they have, but rather how much damage they do to your poor knight.

keep it

As I said above, the Ash of Agni line is great. Do one of these plans. They're both fine.

A. Keep your Fiery Vaporizer, but don't upgrade it. Instead work on Voltaic Tempest. Once you have that bomb, go back and complete your AoA.

B. Upgrade to AoA now, and get Voltaic Tempest later.

Something that might help out a bit

The 4* recipe for Voltaic Tempest, the Plasma Capacitor, is actually available as a mission reward, so it'll save you the cost of buying the recipe from Basil or through AH.
Personally I find VT to be more useful, although AoA is still good for clearing out non-immune arena levels and the like.
