Changes needed or not? (Divine Shield, Radiant Silverhelm, etc)

So, i've played this game for a year and a half, collecting various gear, and now i have a feeling that some gear must be created/changed.
Here are some examples:

*We haven't a Divine Shield (elemental/shadow)

*We haven't a Radiant Silverhelm.

*We haven't a Radiant Silvershield.

*We got a (bad) change in the RSS, but Winmillion remain 4* and underpowered.

*Gunner's gear has been adjusted, but bombers still stuck in elemental armors (now they have the Kat helm. HELM. And its a event item).

*Iron Slug still needs a buff (like some normal stuff).

This is what I can remember right now. We really don't "need" all these things, and I know that OOO is working to make the game better, but I'd like to hear opinions of another players.
If you miss something, or want some change, feel free to point, I'll be happy.

Owlite is the shield line for the Magic sets. It certainly goes well with Divine (although I find all of them too flashy). You are right that an elemental+shadow variant could be made...but then no one would use it, would they?

I actually like the special cases in the armor lines, such as Radiant Silvermail, Perfect Mask of Seerus, etc. They make the armor selection more interesting. If everything were perfectly symmetric, then it would be dull.

I agree that Winmillion might as well go to 5-star, and that bombers could use more diverse armor.

I'd like to see a buff for Callahan, and maybe Iron Slug. But I disagree that normal items need buffs in general. They fill their intended niche: general purpose weapons for people who can't diversify damage types for various reasons. The vulnerability bonus for special damage is not as big as the resistance penalty for special damage, so normal weapons are already "almost as good as" special weapons. Also, financially speaking, Three Rings wants us to craft highly specialized equipment, because this drives CE sales.

OOO Don't cares

OOO Don't cares about suggestions for weapons and armors, they just want something that gives them money $$$.
I don't even know why this forum still exist.. '-'.

But well, I hope some day they'll listen to the player. As well, who plays the game? WHO gives them money? YES, the player, at least think about what the players says, or OOO could be more present on the forums, that actually would be PRETTY nice.
As well, all I can do is hope for the best.

Just because players want it doesn't mean it is what is right for the game. If you asked all of the citizens of the world if a bill should be passed that grants them a free tank of gas for their vehicle, we'd be at a crisis.

Likewise, the players wanted pets, and the players are getting pets. But are pets what is right for the game? We've speculated how they could work, but let me ask you- will pets add anything to the game? Any sort of real value? The knight is strong enough.... and even if that is added such that it is balanced, what then? How is it really any different than it is now?

The players don't care about the balance of the armors, for the most part. If you asked them all, they'd want vog/skolver to stay in fashion because they are in fashion. But is that right? Of course not.

The current 'no normal defence shield', Dragon Scale, is extremely unpopular. People only ever get it for two real reasons: 1) Compound 42 runs and 2) the swag of having a flaming shield. I don't really see any urgent need for another niche shield.
I admit that a Radiant Silverhelm would be nice, but again, the armour itself is fairly niche and I can't imagine it getting much use outside of UGWW and the occasional Kat hunt.
Agreed that Winmillion and bomber armour really need some love.
I believe Nick mentioned a while back that Iron Slug was getting a revamp, but I don't know what's happened to that. It may simply be that it got forgotten about somewhere in the pipeline, unfortunately.

Changed Title

@Bopp
You must have reason. Unique pieces of gear are, in some way, excitant. This is why we want more things like this. But if we got it, it won't be so excitant...

@St-Shadow
This is not an suggestion lol

@Aureate
Yes, I agree. If we have more shields w/o normal defence, they will be useful only in one or another level (Like Divine Shield in the UFSC). But if they come with a special bonus? Like MSI Low? That would be nice.

True; I admit there could be more non-defence orientated shields than we currently have - at the moment, all we've got are Barbarous Thorn Shield (DMG Med for swords only) and Swiftstrike Buckler (ASI High Universal). The former is only for one weapon type, and the latter is of minimal use for bombers, unless you enjoy juggling on a regular basis. There's also the Scarlet Shield which provides a health bonus, but this doesn't really seem to be a great use of a shield slot given that you're swapping out a potential 5* shield for a 3* shield with a +2 health bonus and mediocre defence. Even a 1* Heart Pendant would provide that much.

Bombers need more love. MSI would go some way towards providing that love.

Scarlet Shield is meh

If we have a shield with MSI Low bonus, will be possible reach MSI High. More noticeable than the actual Med and not much OP.

I agree for the callahan /

I agree for the callahan / iron slug buff and with the radiant silverhelm , but I think that the radiant silver mail is designed to go with the argent peacemaker because it will be a bonus VS undead very high ( like volcanic salamander set and dragon scale set ).
