I propose an option to prevent afk party leaders ruining the fun

First off, I would like to apologize if this has been posted before.

Several times in the past (particularly the roar twins) I have dealt with party leaders leaving for up to 15 minutes at a time. I would like to go solo but i still want help on the mission, and my teammate would not want to spend the extra energy to join me after I go solo and then also get less tokens. I was wondering if it would be an option to have the Invite to Follow feature (like at the two checkpoints between tiers) as an add-on when you go solo. That way if the party leader goes afk, the only person she (or he) hurts is herself. The rest of the party would be able to continue on and get the same rewards as they would normally.

I am very open to feedback!

um

wouldnt a very much simpler idea is to be votekick the party leader?Kinda like in TF2. You click on their icon, then say something like «vote to kcik» and the other people can press F1 for yes and F2 for no.

I wouldn't like that because I could imagine some trolls randomly kicking the party leader during runs and then the leader loses all their heat. I could imagine a lot of people doing votekicks for fun like in tf2, and in my experience those vote usually pass regardless of whether they deserved it. If you do it this way, I don't think people would use the option just for kicks.

It's a fine suggestion. I do prefer to play with people that I know.

How to avoid.

If they are going AFK politely ask them to die (So you can go on party buttons). Run with friends or guildies. And finally just solo :p enemies will have less life and you'll get experience in playing ^^
