I currently have a kilowatt pulsar and 2 prismatech mk2 (one with asi med) so which one should i upgrade first to farm vana?
Which one would help me on vana more?

Thanks for warning me about putting it in the right place.
I should have been more clear; I already own a blitz needle and was talking about an elemental gun for the slags on floors b4 the boss.

Take the driver. Using pulsar on slags will annoy your team mates but if you're going solo feel free to use it.
Silversix isn't bad either.

Then Nova Driver. Once you master ricochets and fast-firing ("alchemer switching"), alchemers are really powerful.
I view Polaris as mainly a knockback weapon, not a damage weapon. It's useful for herding monsters. Its damage isn't bad, though.
To be honest, I don't use any anti-zombie gun in FSC. In depths 24-27, all I use is my elemental sword and some trojan-killing weapon (Blitz or Final Flourish).

My own vanaderp loadout
1) Any 5 star brandish (Need fast speed of a brandish to not be jumped on by slags when doing charge attacks)
2) Some elemental gun (I like polaris, because I can push slags around when solo and not get hit by trojans at D27)
3) Blitz
4) Shiver (Helps you spawnkill trojans)
For armor I'd use elemental/fire resist type ones. I use chaos cowl with grey feather mantle.
For trinkets I use two damage medium gun trinkets.
For shield I use 5 star owlite.
chaos cowl + 2 damage medium trinkets brings the blitz up to damage maximum, and non gun weapons to medium bonus on damage and charge time.
I've beaten Vanaduke with both Nova Driver and Polaris (and several other guns --- not to brag, but just about any non-shadow gun works). I greatly prefer Nova Driver over Polaris for general Clockworks play. For Vanaduke in particular, Polaris is pretty easy to use, although it takes a while. I guess I'd vote for Nova Driver. It also takes a while to kill Vanaduke, but at least you have a cool-kid gun along the way.
Someone's going to chime in with: Just get Blitz Needle instead. They have a point, but feel free to ignore them.
Edit: This should be in the Arsenal forum, by the way. Vanaduke is not exactly "New Recruits". :)
