The other thread depresses me :c
Can we talk about the "good party member"?

That guy who uses his Polaris well and doesn't cause things to fling into your face.
That guy who revs someone else when everyone's dead.
That guy in LD who congratulates the other team for a really close game.
That guy who lets you kill Giant Lichen Colonies with your Biohazard.
That guy who tells you you're low on energy or tabs you before hopping on the elevator.
That guy who stops charging his Blitz when he notices no one has gone to get the water for Vana's mask phase.
That guy who would go all the way to the other side of the floor in D25 FSC to rev you.
That guy who times his Blitz to go off at the same time as yours whilst fighting Vana.

That guy

Vortex artist who sets up all the monsters to be in the way of your charge.
Poisons the monsters the mender is after.
Who one-shotted trojans with the old RSS.
Who blasts away monsters that are cornering you.
Who drops a pill the instant you're low on health.
Who will explain every shortcut/ secret in the level to you when you don't recognize them.
Who will ask which role you want to play while you both kill the level.

That guy who uses his Polaris well and doesn't cause things to fling into your face.
started to use AP instead of polaris (and works just as good, upside = no knockback & downside = it won't interupt turrets except for charge bird)

That guy who revs someone else when everyone's dead.
when i can get to one without going down myself

That guy in LD who congratulates the other team for a really close game.
never play lockdown, but in TF2 i do so counts for something (doesn't it)

That guy who lets you kill Giant Lichen Colonies with your Biohazard.
never seen anybody with a biohazard but when i know what he's doing i'll leave it alone :D

That guy who tells you you're low on energy or tabs you before hopping on the elevator.
all the time when i had an elevator pass :D (and now when i just want to use up my energy)

That guy who stops charging his Blitz when he notices no one has gone to get the water for Vana's mask phase.
most of the time i'm the one shiving so i automaticly run for the waterglobe (most of the time i have my AP and glacius on top of the shiv)

That guy who would go all the way to the other side of the floor in D25 FSC to rev you.
most of the time i don't even notice haha but when they ask i'll just make the current room a bit safer to continue and then run to the person revving him

That guy who times his Blitz to go off at the same time as yours whilst fighting Vana.
allways xD i hate when vana strikes or runs off because of a bad timed blitz (so i automaticly think other people do too haha)

and you forgot the levi/calibur charge :D (i never even use the damn thing)

That guy who takes advantage of your mist bombs.
That guy who notices you brought a certain wep specifically to compliment his, or vice-versa (he brought a wep to compliment yours).

That one good party member who...

...brings Voltaic Tempest or Electron Vortex and uses it profusely.
...sees me using shard bombs and instead of brandish-charging all the monsters away, switches to blitz and keep the monsters interrupted on top of my bombs.
...has a Polaris and only uses it for crowd control and interrupting turrets.
...shares heat when they don't need it.
...is new to the game, but listens to advice given, making them more useful party members than some 5* people are.
...brings Venom Veiler.
...brings Stagger Storm.
...sees someone join a Vana run with a Cyclops Cap, Fused Demo Suit, Fiery Pepperbox and Cold Snap, and decides to give that guy a chance.
...coordinates attacks with their party members.
...actually talks with you! This one's my favourite.

i love doing this!!!

Ive done lots of vortexing into ally charges
bumping slags into groups being blitzed
Ive actually a few times shielded a trojan smash that effectively didnt pass through my block and prevented him from taking another hit
ive done alot of support bombing, cause thats what i do :D
i rev as soon as i can
i often share heat
and i love a nice party who can work with a bomber~

Diamond...I always see teammates mid-blitz charge in the last room of d27 FSC and they're about to get smacked by something. I try to block/defend them and sometimes it works. A noble cause that usually earns /thanks :) Keep it up yo.

That one guy who sees you getting swarmed by a sea of enemies, and breaks you out before you go down.
That one guy who sees you trapped by a trojan in a corner, maybe even two, and frees you before they get the chance to go crazy.
That one guy who brings Shivermist in FSC and doesn't overuse it.
That one guy/group that knows what to do when someone brings out a electron vortex and proceed to cause mass genocide.
That one guy who has a Polaris at Vanaduke but shoots slags to a distant place out of the way and not at vana when he's being frozen.

That one good party member who...

...blocks projectiles for an Autogunner. (Especially in Fiend stages; being able to mow down Devilites with a Blitz charge safely is a beautiful thing.)
...waters fire tiles around the Toxoil spawns in Compound 42. (CANNOT STRESS THIS ENOUGH.)
...upon noticing a Trojan is on them, moves around the same general area to keep him facing away from your Blitz/Shiver/Levi/whatever.
...shield-bumps Lumbers away from you. (Even if they aren't bumped far enough, it's the thought that counts.)
...upon seeing you have a Vortex, immediately breaking out the Brandish, Sealed Sword, or Troika upgrade. Or the FoV.
...upon seeing you get set on fire in FSC, throws water at you. Bonus points if you were using the FoV or were going to die from the Fire.
...aims for Poisoned enemies when healers are about.
...doesn't get judgmental about your gear. (Few people have been judgmental about gear in my experience, but then again I might just be lucky.)

This is probably the best thread in the forums. I actually had fun reading it.

I'll add a few "Haven good guys"

The guy who says "selling *name* for cheap" and actually sells it for cheap.
The guy who thanks after a trade.
The guys that let you join their conversation.
The guy that you don't know that replies politely to your tells.
The guy (buyer) that actually makes a decent offer.
The guy (seller) that doesn't say "make an offer" but tells you the price.

That one guy who doesn't even use a Polaris except for killing Gun Puppies or stationary enemies, or when soloing enemies.

That one guy who shields before he gets nailed by an enemy, instead of lugging it around for looks.

That one guy who kills the adds on Vanaduke's Stage even though he brought a Blitz to kill Vana.

That one guy who knows not to use Shivermist throughout ALL of FSC, and switches to better CC utility bombs.

That one guy who uses pills BEFORE dying, instead of dropping them after dying, expecting you to revive him before anyone else.

That one guy who drops all his stuff BEFORE going on the Elevator to go back to Haven.

-> That guy who warns you that that danger room will probably kill you, but you go in anyways, and he goes along without complaint, and then saves/revs the whole party.
-> That guy who is primarily a swordie, but whips out a gun/bomb to compliment and support the team, whilst everyone else is fencing mobs in every direction.
-> That guy who acutally answers a new player's questions without trolling.
-> That guy who responds to your invite to join their team, just saying he cannot, instead of just letting it hang.
-> That guy who drops health caps for new players at Snarbolax, instead of letting them die and then showing off how to kill Snarby. [And let them play with the bell abit wtihout shouting ;) ]
-> That guy who drops his fire/poison/curse vials for the team just before JK, because he is not going to use them anyways.
-> That guy who hates being the one shivermisting vana, but brings shiver along as backup.
-> That guy who just makes the run fun by the quirky things he say/do.
-> That guy who dances around the mobs like its the easiest thing ever, whilst leaving behind a path of destruction, making you wonder how he does that!
