Aegis is the original shield for the scabard model. The Mighty Defender is a modified (reduced) version of the Aegis model, and both the rendon shield and the Crest of Almire are based around that modified version. Therefore they are both modified and reskinned versions of the Aegis, they share the same roots, but one is not a reskin of the other.

I think it had a cog on the front or something? The front was sort of orangey-yellow and there was a logo in black, I think. I don't think it was silvery-white.

That's Desna's shield. It is also a reskin of the Mighty Defender.
It's a costume shield, it doesn't exist ingame.
Visually the closest thing to it would probably be the Darkfang Shield.
