To me, it's worth approximately 8-11K CE. I don't think you got ripped off there unless he paid you 1-2K CE for it.

Brandish ASI VH prices range is quite wide; I've seen some going at ~8k CE, and some going at ~15k CE; ultimately you weren't ripped off. But with patience you could have squeezed at least 3k CE more for it. Basically unless the guy who bought isn't planning on using it, you made a fair deal and shouldn't be concerned more with what it'll become. I wish you the buyer is equipping it, it's a negative feeling discovering an item you just sold gets sold at a way higher price within a couple weeks.
It was 6-8k ce some month ago, but after modified Chaos Set it worth more, about 10k ce.
Not more. You have to be lucky to sell more.
