I had this idea some time ago. it does not affect gameplay, so it will not receve love, and I know it. it's only a slight cure for boredom.

I think that feeling rewarded for reaching endgame is something we miss. yeah, sure you are a vanguard. and so?
I think that there should be something to make feel rewarded high-ranks, so here we go.
I think of new, possibly cooler proto sets for whoever reaches vanguard rank. well, that is probably it for the suggestion.
now, how to implement it? a few things could go:
1 give a (bound) recipe to vanguards to upgrade proto armor. mmm. I think this is a no go.
2 give possibility to vanguards to re-do their proto with new sets. better.
3 give to same account alts of the vanguard new proto sets on new character creation. this is my favourite.
let's test this things:
1 we would require recipes to upgrade all proto, which would be given after the last HoH. but if someone doesn't like its proto? or if simply just doesn't want to upgrade his basic armor? no cooler sets for them.
2 ok, this time they can retain the basic armor stats, which is way better. we would need a machine in the HoH to do that. what if they change idea? the machine should be in the HoH, so it's not a problem. what if they want to retain their proto? they can skip the machine.
3 want to show cooler sets? rescue camp again! this will have a few results:
the old players will encounter some newbies /noobs. time to get them started so they don't grow up even noober than they are.
you can finally do all the missions with no (major) grinding! because you can get all the ce you want in a few FSC runs with the other one. wait, that is grinding. well, it will be simplier that before. also, you can stash all the ce you want before going.
