This petition is here to suggest to OOO to add a day called "42 day," which will occur February 1st in honour of the divine 42 which is the answer to the ultimate question of life, the universe, and everything.
To agree with this, simply make a post in favor of "42 day" in this thread*.

42 and calendars do not work that way.

Also, I said I was counting posts. 5 posts plus 1 OP equals 6 posts.
So you're counting 6 posts in favor even though 3 of them are yours and 2 of them are mine (and my posts STILL are not in favor).

Also if you're going to do 2/1 and 4/2 and 8/4 why not go nuts and make it 6/3 and 10/5 and 12/6 since we're doing the whole equivalent fractions thing?

This equation can be simplified to 2 = 2 = 2.
In other words, when you use this logic, it suddenly has absolutely nothing to do with "42".
Stick with april 2nd and not the others, putting math into it makes it flawed.
Do it on towel day, if you want to honor the series, this is the best solution.

Michaelb should be the first winner for trying to put math into holidays then refusing to mark any post that disagrees with this idea to be agents it there by breaking the laws of math and negatives.
