Spark trinkets, i.e. trinkets gotten from Brinks by trading him sparks:

Royal Jelly Band
Radiant Crystal Pin
Dread Skelly Charm
Pure White Laurel
Soaking Wetstone Pendant
Sizzling Hearthstone Pendant
Wyrmwood Bracelet
Saintly Silver Amulet
Purrfect Katnip Pouch

Does anyone actually use them? If so, which ones and why do you prefer them over crafted trinkets? If not, what would it take for you to use them, and do you think they -should- be naturally inferior to crafted trinkets?

Personally, I never use any of them. The first three are basically never as good as Heart Pendants, and the status resist on the others isn't enough to warrant using up a slot, even when up against a particular status. I'd consider using them in certain situations if their effects were doubled - this would bring them more in line with Max UVs. But even then, I wouldn't use them particularly often. Triple their effects and I'd use them a lot, but probably because they'd be overpowered at that level. And I don't believe that spark trinkets should be inherently inferior gear simply because you don't have to use energy crafting them.

Wetstone Pendant and White Laurel are good for achieving status immunity in Compound 42. 2*max+trinket makes you immune to most of the fire and poison.

I think Heart Pendants are an abomination to game balance so I use all those trinkets you listed a lot.
I also have only one Combat Module so far so I usually have a slot free.

Well I use brink's trinkets all the time it gives me as followed 2* 250cr 3* 1,200cr 4*3,500cr 5*10,000cr the 5* is the best deal but i rarely save up long enough to buy one :l

I don't use these trinkets because of Heart Trinkets, because having up to 12 extra health is better than the added defense. Actually, even if there weren't heart trinkets I would still not use these, as this defense buff definitely isn't worth 300CE/month to me.
