Weird/New scenario room?

Was hunting cakes in T1 pawn gate and found this

I tried to take a photo of the brown blocks opening into scuttlebots when destroyed but wasn't fast enough, was a little odd though when I saw this. and the I tried shooting through the little gate but bullets exploded on it.

I've seen the boxed scuttlebots before, too.
They're uncommon, but are possible to be generated in certain clockworks levels, just like certain other rooms (like the Abandoned Gremlin Bridge, or the Lichen Meteorite in lairs, or the Candlestick Keep Carnavon, or the Mineral Researchers, or Hubert).

Actually the Strata Construction Research module is a fairly common one, can replace any party button that is placed on a vertical path.

Same with the mineral research, it can replace any Mineral Deposit that is attached to the right hand side of a horizontal path.

...fair point. What I meant was that they all have some odds of being generated in their appropriate level, as opposed to the more generic rooms that you normally see.

I've seen that one a couple

I've seen that one a couple times before (and one time this week), it has been there for at least a few months now. Most people don't do Clockworks runs anymore, just farm the FSC mission repeatedly, so they don't get to see a lot of scenario rooms.

... I wonder how many new people that are farming cakes are coming across them for the first time and going "What the hell is this?"

You know,

If people were running the Arcade more, this would probably be easily recognized by most.

But alas, Missions is where it's at...

I run the arcade a bit more than others, but I rarely find any scenario rooms (Which is a shame, really). I don't blame Fallconn for thinking it's new.
