I am looking for guild advice. I am not an expert at Spiral Knights but I thought it would be fun to have a guild. I am looking for a fun and easy going guild i was hoping we would just have fun and enjoy playing together when we were on and maybe once a week or 3 times a month we would get together who could do it and play. I am wanting to know what rules you would recommend for my guild. If you want to join I have this down and would it be good to let the guild give ideas then the guild masters decide what we are going to do? How do you post messages to the guild?
Questions:
Do you play everyday or every weekend etc..
Do you like the guild name The Splendid Way (That's the name of the guild)
Your armor?weapon level (I have level 3 armor and weapons I am getting better at the game)
Are you new to the game?
Thank you!!!
For small guilds, rules should be pretty light, unless you want to keep it to a specific elite. Basically, keep it simple!
No begging, no spamming.. encourage donations. That sort of thing.
Plus, if those questions are meant to be towards people you're asking to join, it has a few problems:
Do you play everyday or every weekend etc..
Very specific. Some people play week to week. Some play every day. Some play whenever they feel like it. Ask them to tell you how often they play; not ask them if they play "this" or "that" much.
Do you like the guild name The Splendid Way (That's the name of the guild)
Whether they like it or not is neither here nor there for recruitment. If someone doesn't like it, they probably won't join. So, there's no need to ask.
Your armor?weapon level (I have level 3 armor and weapons I am getting better at the game)
"Level" is used too loosely. SK works on stars, and levels. Asking for the level is a bit confusing. Change the word to "star level" and you'll be fine.
Are you new to the game?
A bit pointless considering you've asked for their weapon/armor star level. If they have 3* gear, they're obviously not new. If they have 0* gear, they are new. You can work this out from their gear. Their actual knowledge of SK doesn't really matter for joining a guild unless you plan to wander around answering questions, acting like a FAQ guild.
