Hi everyone. I was just wondering what "Invinciframes" are. I see people using the term in Lockdown related discussions and it confuses me.

@Sunderius

After taking damage, you get a short period of time where you cannot take damage again. This is to prevent being struck multiple times in a second by monsters or traps. However, it tends to get in the way of weapon's effectiveness when brought to PvP. Things like the Cutter, Autogun, and Antigua lines strike very quickly, and have reduced effectiveness.

I have heard that shock spasms prevent invinciframes from triggering, however, and can be very useful for dealing large amounts of damage.

Another thing!

You cannot attack when you are in an invinciframe.

(Hexzyle: Do I see an Cutter charge/Lightning Capacitor combo in the offing?)

You can attack all you want. Only in BN you can't drop bombs.

You can't attack if you get flinched, which happens often when getting hit with big swords.
