Why is it not possible to use a scarf on a chapeau of any color? I've seen an NPC with one on. Granted he lacks the feather but still why cant we do that as well. It was one of the main reasons i got a chapeau in the first place. Would it be possible to change the game to make this possible? Its not like it will clip into anything or look weird.

The problem with it is that adding Accessory Back slots allows you to have a double-feathered Chapeau.
Which is good, right? +1 despite not having a Chapeau.

That's probably why chapeaus can't have scarves. The feather might already replace the helmet back slot.
It does clip, actually, if you look close enough, but so do a lot of things.
