Vog Cub is pretty nice, actually. If you use swords a whole lot you'll definitely benefit from its attack speed increase, and it's fairly high as well - Very High, in fact. The faster you strike the easier it is to cause an enemy to flinch before they can attack you, just keep in mind that in larger parties you might need a higher damage bonus in order to do so, something that Vog Cub does not provide. It is still good at what it does though, knocking back enemies with a heavy sword can be difficult if you're cornered but not so much when you have a decent attack speed increase to back you up, making swords like Troikas and Sealed Swords much more effective and other swords like Cutters extremely fun to use.

In short, as a swordsman you can't go wrong with Vog Cub, and it is a great alternative to Skolver for less combat experienced Knights.
