I've recently obtain a splinter bomb with a CTR High, but I don't know which path to choose. Scintillating Sun Shard deals moderate stun with vs fiend very high, but Deadly Splinter deal more damage. Should I choose the SSS for the abilities it have or choose DS for greater dps?
Which Splinter Bomb path is better?

Not much of a lockdown fan, so nope
But let's say I'm doing vana/SL vana with a party, would it be better to choose SSS or DS? Which would be more useful in a clockwork run?

Do you tend to run around in Mad Bomber, Chaos, or otherwise have at least +4 damage for bombs? I lean towards splinter these days, but Sun Shards help a lot against the difficult enemies they're intended to be used against. Sun Shards, for instance, make it a lot easier to deal with Trojans since the stun allows more time for your shards to detonate before the Trojan dashes away from them. Stunning greavers is of immense help, as well.
If you're using Chaos/Mad, I say Deadly Splinter. You're clearly confident enough in your abilities if you're going with such a set. Otherwise, Sun Shards.

I'm going with black kat
I'm going with black kat cowl/mercurial demo suit, along with a bomb dmg trinkets and bomb ctr trinket. Will it help if I get Sun Shards or Deadly Splinter? And thank you for your advices Peinewood and Zeddy :)

Unless you've got CTR UVs on your bombs, I'd say just go for two CTR trinkets. You want max CTR more than you want max damage.
At that amount of damage bonus, I would go for Deadly Splinter. Greavers shouldn't be a problem anyway now that there is bunnyhopping and shieldsmashing.
