Also, I just realized that the highest score is going to be difficult to divide from a full team, so I'm raising the price to 80k. That's 5k per participant in an 8v8 match. 5k from a 10 minute match, guys!

Question about damage
Does doing damage someone has defense against:
-Net you more damage because you hit them more times
Or
-net you less damage because you do the same total damage?
And does doing damage the opponent has no defense against:
-net you more damage because you are doing more damage per hit
Or
-net you less damage because they take less hits to kill?
Or are they all the same? And what about Death Marks?

You can only do as much damage against a target as they have health. The optimal solution is to find a combination of defence and weapons that will bring your target to exactly 1 health as fast as possible, then have them go heal. In addition, you may your targets to be guardians and have them shield. Since you hit a shield several times depending on the amount of people present under the shield, you can deal a lot of damage at once by multihitting despite guardian shields have large amounts of defence.
Deathmarks nullify defence, which increases your damage. Damage has been shown to increase even for things like flourish against someone with seemingly no piercing defence. I suspect this is because everyone in LD has a certain amount of defence against all damage types.

Pretty sure each class has it's own bonus defences on top of armour, to some degree. Guardians, at least, get bonuses in basically everything, like their low:all-res bonuses.

Some tips if anyone else is giving it a go:
Holding a charge removes invinciframes.
All knights have 100 base defence in everything, how can you remove it?
The highest DPS weapon in regular LD will change if you go with tip #1.
can I use photoshop or video editing?
