Wanted to just see how it looked, accidently equipped, cant unbind at unbinding smith since its a costume item, help?

Only chance you have of getting it unbound is submitting a ticket within 5-10 minutes of binding it
I don't know whether this will work, but the only route I can imagine is that you file a ticket with tech support, explaining your mistake and asking them kindly to unbind the helmet.
