So I'm aware that Fire damage in PvE counts as environmental damage.

My question, then, is:

Does fire in Lockdown count towards player damage? I often bring an AoA and I'm not sure if those fantastic flames are being counted towards my xxxsuperpronoscopexxx fancee triple-digit damage.

You are experiencing a PICNIC ERROR!

I don't think so. I once saw someone with very low damage yet he was dropping haze bombs like a mad bomber (hur hur) and getting kills from the statuses.

But we need Zeddy.

TEST COMPLETED

Myself and another bomber entered an LD match on opposing teams, both of us armed with only an Ash of Agni and with a fire weakness (I think; not sure exactly how guardian shield passively interacts with stat resistances).

And we firebombed each other, like so:

Results?

The only reason I got more than he did, I think, was because I was being harassed by a couple strikers and haddd to set them on fire.

But ye we can conclude that fire damage is counted as player damage in Lockdown.

Frabjous.

EDIT: Just saw Frost's comment.

Well.
...Thank you? c:

Well good to know!

I'll be able to now happily use my Fiery Vaporizer MKII knowing the damage is counted.
