I did a t1 run to level up some ld gear today and a newbie joined me that had what looked like a cobalt helm but was his personal color (I think) and 0-star. Is the new startling armor and helm or is it just and additional one? I was just curious.

That's new? I thought spiral crescent helm has been around for MONTHS.

Its relatively new compared to the other sets of armor that the rest of us were allowed to choose from. And you know I would have chosen a flak jacket :(

WOOOOOORD (regarding the flak jacket)
Instead of getting a nicely custom-colored coat for free at the start of the game, I had to waste CE crowns on a useless costume armor with a forced color scheme that doesn't match my helms, i.e. Frosty Flak Jacket. I think this is the millionth feature added for new players that old players can't get (color changes, eye styles, height modifiers...), and I'm kind of offended (although I'm not really entitled to be) by their lack of giving a care for people who have been here awhile.
I hope I'm not being an over-entitled millennial prick right now, but I think even other F2P games have done a better job getting everyone happy.
