Guys, i need some help here. I want to know why i got almost no feedback to this post i took months to type up. please help me here.
Feedback
Everyone was telling me to take all my ideas and post it on one huge thread instead of publishing my ideas as smaller threads that would clutter the suggestion forum for other players who are trying to post their ideas. Dammit, did they trick me? arrgh!
I meant like post one idea one week or something then wait and post another.
Either way there's so much text anyone would struggle to finish reading. As suggested in the thread try using ID tags, or any method to make reading through it all an easier experience.
They could have at least read one sentence and commented on it. An i even spaced out each section of my post to group the related ideas together. sigh.
About posting one a week, I guess i could try that. ty
"They could have at least read one sentence and commented on it."
Ok, I'll read it now and.....
"~ NEW MONTERS ~"
1 month of work wasted for missing an S. First impressions matter
:P
summarize(has to be extremely concise in ur case) in OP of the thread, cut paste in separate posts(responses in the thread) and insert links to the posts in ur summaries
and eventually some ppl will read the parts of the big... THING in which they are interested
its kinda like the spoiler button that soooooooooooooooo many forums do have. contributes soooooooooooooooo much to readability of tldr's
i feel sorry for that wasted devotion T.T on that big... THING
o yea and not to pop ur bubble or anything, but programmers probably dont ever even need more than a basic idea, which can be put in 2 or 3 sentences. soooo the length of the text gives readers something to read, but doesnt necessarily increase chances of seeing ur suggestions getting implemented. having looked at the big... THING i do hope im wrong tho lol
thanks for the feedback Little-Juances. i did not notice that s and i will corrct it right now.
Love your idea No-Thanks. you have reignited my flame to not give up on this post. i will try again to put it up as a summary in the suggestion forum. :)
I agree with Rich-Tbiscuit, I'm not gonna lie when I saw the amount you wrote I just thought this isn't worth it. That would have taken me....(Le figuring it out) approximately 145253 hours.
People can't be bothered to read massive chunks of writing, myself included. Sorry. Imagine if OOO added your idea to the game.
Story time:
You load up your knight.
You have a new message!
You see it says bug fixes and added this and that or whatever.
And then Blandaxt's idea is there.
It is PAGES AND PAGES AND PAGES AND PAGES AND PAGES AND PAGES AND PAGES long. So no one will read it. :L
I might have forgotten about this a bit ¬.¬
But yeah, it wasn't very well formatted and ended up being very hard to read as a result.
Nice one Shamanala. Anyways, it's a bit too complex. Think about it. Lumbers have one attack. Trojans have three. Yours have about 5-6. Just about the only monster in-game with more than 3 "attacks" is the darkfang mender.
I'm going to summarize my ideas so I can give the idea and show the reasons why I gave the monsters more than 1 attack. I really hope that it turns out different this time. Thanks a lot guys for helping me out here, I really felt that no one cared. I'm glad that I was wrong.
The thread is really great: The grammar and setout is good (as opposed to when you first came to the forums)
I would really love to read it, there's so much thought been put into it. But I find it so difficult to start when I know it's going to take me more than 10 minutes.
People are put off by massive amounts of texts to read.
or
People didn't think the idea was worth replying to.
or
Sometimes people just don't read or reply to suggestions. Happened to suggestions I've made, it's no big deal.
Try and maybe make your ideas more concise. Don't jumble all your ideas into one huge thread at once, maybe put them out one thread at a time.
